The <t> is out of range.

This is right from the Wiki.....
A goblin is an evil or merely mischievous creature of folklore, often described in as a grotesquely disfigured or gnome-like phantom, that may range in height from that of a dwarf to that of a human. They are attributed with various (sometimes conflicting) abilities, temperaments and appearances depending on the story and country of origin.

Now that we got that info...
Beastmen are creatures created by FF and other fictional games....they dont exist. Goblins, on the other hand.....well they are obviously in the encyclopedia, dictionary....etc.
If you can show me Yagudo or Hecteyes in either of those books, I'll fold my hand ^^.

*edit*
Oh, and LOL @ Beastmaster when mob comes to you at 2%, you TP and miss, and mob beats you to death before you can kill it ><

Ignornace much?

Certainly FF holds plenty of unique ideas. But much of it is based off ancient cultures and mythology. The term beastmen refers to half-human half-animal creatures such as the Minotaur and the Centaurs.

If you look at the beastmen off FFXI, they are indeed of humanoid types.

Yagudo: Bird
Qudava: Turtle
Orc: ....well....orcs are orcs.

Goblins may not fit into the BEAST part of the category, but none the less, they are classified as beastmen.

I'm not convinced that being in a reference book as a mythological creture makes something real as opposed to a beastman, but there are many Beastmen that are at least as real as a Goblin...

I dont know if anyone posted yet, but I hate how mobs casting range is further than players... like those damn stones in dynamis

This is a good rebuttal, but I never said goblins were real!
I can't back that up unless my eyes see one.
Then again my ex kinda looks like a goblin.....but whatever lol.
In mythology goblins are nomads and dont like anyone or anything.
It just doesnt make sense to me to think goblins would "join forces".
Thats all I was sayin.

What really frustrates me is when you are in a deathmatch against a mob. Say, you 10% and the mob 10%. Then "mysteriously" you get very shitty accuracy all of a sudden...

Annoying.

SE said somewhere that at 5-10% mobs get bonuses to evasion, accuracy defense, magic defense, and everything else that we seem to lose when we're at 5-10% life.
