Granted. But your Genie has defiled international Genie law in granting a no consequence wish. They are sent to genie jail for ten years where they are sodomised with a frozen tuna. Upon release they hunt you down and make you choke on your own testicles.

I wish for harsher penalties for parole violators and world peace.

Granted but now, The law charges minor crimes as harsh as they charge the major crimes. You get a speeding ticket the next day, get life in prison because of that, and get sodomized with a frozen tuna, but i got good news for you get released into parole early for good behavior, but your parole gets violated because you checked in 12 seconds too late by you parole officers time, and you get sentenced to an execution. The world also becomes so afraid of the law that we all never go outside again thus causing world peace.

I wish the level cap in FFXI would hit 100 instead of 99.

Granted; however the final raise from 99 to 100 has one last genkai quest which requires the following:
-99 Kindred's seals
-10 merit points
-A drop from a specific hyper notorious monster that spawns once every 72 to 144 hours in an area filled with agressive true sight mobs that easily lay waste to level 99 players and the specific item has a droprate of 5%.
The only other chance you have obtaining this item is winning the rank 1 prize in the mog bonanza.

I wish the bus would be here already.

granted, but only after the bus pulls away with you on it, you realize its the wrong bus, and the driver wont stop to let you off..........ever.

granted, but it's only 10 minutes long and valve also announces that it's getting out of the video game business entirely.

Granted, but your computer and/or PS3 cannot handle the intense graphics put out and you proceed to punch the monitor causing several cuts to your hand and arm which inevitably get infected and they have to amputate your penis and arms to stop the infection from spreading.

I wish it would be September already.

Granted! But now that its fall and the summer weather has broken and begun to cool off, you realize just how cold it is. You're alone, in a big city with no one to turn to. Without the last few weeks of Augusts warmth you are thrown headlong into a deep depression. Even your Hell Genie begins to worry about you as you gorge yourself on Twinkies and Diet Coke. In the raving lunacy of your downward spiral you realize that everything was a lie, there is no reality, only the abyss, the black fire within it and that you secretly had a deep, nurturing love for David Hasslehoff. As you shove down the last few twinkies and take a giant swig of Diet Coke, you have an epiphany; Hell Genie can wish it all away, have something disasterous happen to someone else. As you spin to face Hell Genie, your heart gives out at the sudden elation and movement of your swollen, depressed form and you tumble backwards, choking on half chewn Twinkie and frothing Diet Coke from your mouth like a wildebeast. Clutching your chest, Twinkie and clotted Diet Coke seeping from your throat and Hell Genie gently holding you in his arms and weeping, you manage to choke out "I wish...." but the rest is cut off as your life ends; Hell Genie left weeping silently over your bedraggled body covered in tears, Twinkie paste, Diet Coke foam and a little bit of Astroglide.

I wish I had.

Granted, but their newfound initiative lands them new and better jobs. They eventually move out leaving you to pay the rent on your own.
