WTF happened to this place? We used be like a family strained acquaintances! I miss those old days. This forum really made FFXI for me, and as far as I know no other server really had anything like it.

I have a theory, that a lot of the guests are users who just don't bother to log in.

The change to eosun, FFXIV being bad and not setting an official server kind of killed the site. We could have taken over a server and made FFXIV enjoyable. Thats my theory at least.
 
When FFXIV 2.0 comes out, we need to get EVERYONE back lol

Nah, I doubt it. FFXIV was god awful and everyone would of quit eventually (like most people did). Even when it became bearable, it was still bad. People may of stayed around the forums longer though.

The high "guest" number comes from a vb hack I installed a while go to make it seem like the site had users...it was never turned off.
