Thief's Knife is now Uber Common Drop

I feel really bad for the people that camped it for months.

I remember helping Biggy camp his for like, 10 hours a day for over 2 weeks.

It's really quite the slap in the face to those who waited so long to get it. Even more so to those who waited so long and didn't get it.

you got it in one day. yes, that was easy.
Actually, that just means it was fast or Marajade was really lucky; it doesn't say anything about difficulty of the mobs or competition.

If the drop is much easier to obtain now (drop rate is better for the pop item and the actual drop?) I don't see why everyone is "feeling sorry" for those that spent months, camping it. Everyone has a choice for what they want to do in the game, and if your choice is to camp an NM that has an extremely bad drop rate, and usually camped by RMT, well then you do so accepting those facts.

In my opinion, I consider it a "waste of time" to camp something that has a horrible drop rate when there is a lot more I could be doing in the game, such as quests, leveling or even doing something fun with friends. To me its just like playing the lottery, either you risk the chance of wasting hundreds of dollars over the course of your life buying tickets with a small chance you might win, or you find somewhere else to put your money that you feel might be more productive.

I'll camp an NM here and there, but i'm not going to spend all my online time camping it for more than a few days. If others felt that it was worth their chances to camp him for months on end, well that was their choice. I'm glad that SE has found a way to make the "game playing experience" better by giving us a series of things to do, in order to get the item.

You make it sound as if it was easy, lol.

You spent 10 hours down there, my brother spent roughly 2,000, yes two THOUSAND. (0/104, 5 hours roughly between pops 25% claim rate). So yes that was easy.

it was the most action Bonze Marberry saw in years. people ran him zone to zone while trying farm the thf berrys.

Anyway, I feel bad now, lol. You said you wanted to sell it a few weeks back, and I convinced you to keep it xD
We paid 55m for ours lol. Good thing it's not as a big loss when no one actually paid out of their pockets for it XD

"Parade Gorget"

Yeah, but compare the number of people with Level 50+ Paladin and/or Dark Knight to the number of ones with Level 70+ Thief.

Parade Gorget has a wider "market."

Point being, it'll be busy, and then traffic will die off...Similarly to what we saw with the Parade Gorget.

Oh, no doubt. It'll die off faster is what I'm saying :P Especially considering the drop rate of the knife compared to the drop rate of the gorget.

Agreed.

Yea THF knife is a lvl 70+ item for THF, cmon it aint exactly the most popular job. Compare that to a lvl 50+ PLD/DRK item? Huge demand diffrence.
