This board needs an Admin.

Actually deleting posts is probably the worst thing you could do for board popularity. Alot of good people do not go to boards where admins delete posts. It doesn't matter if they abuse thier power, or if they don't, normally when I see an admin use thier board power to delete posts, you don't see a very popular board.

Freedom in any place you go speaks for itself, and admins like that, take it away, and people wont like it. As I implied, if you really want to get rid of the bad. You must play by thier rules, and then some.

As I've mentioned before, I'd be happy to get rid of topics (people) that have proven themselves time and time again to be worthless.
 
I think the board needs a new Admin. Pup is MIA too much, and cant help out when needed. Took him 2 months to answer a PM I sent him. Nothing against him, but I think its time to pass the torch to someone who is here.

Therefor, Asiamise, I nominate you for President of QCDN.
 
At Marissa's Fishing Forum they have a place for posts like that, it's called the Black Hole. This is where all irrelevant and inane threads go. So if someone still cares enought to read this trash, it is still available. At Marissa's these threads are closed though.

Just a suggestion, and I do agree that some form of moderation is needed, even in the flameboard. It should of course not be a person who would remove flames that involve him/herself or his/her friends or allies, the flameboard should not be censored, just administered.
 
/vote Asiamise for Flameboard moderator. I understand the sentiment that some of you have in terms of possible power abuse. However (as Asiamise stated before); if there is power abuse, then the power can easily be taken away..........the next time Pupusa comes on.........

Lol, in the first admin thread, didn't I say that something like this would happen again?

I asked to mod the FB before and I'll ask again. Pupusa being absent isn't doing anyone any favors.

If CubsWoo became the Mod for the flameboard, would be become the official president of the internets?
 
I'm still iffy about this topic but if there was a FB Mod I do not believe they should be an active member of the Flameboard so they could look at the posts with an un-biased point of view. Therefore I once again put a vote in for Asia <3
 
PS: It is getting kind of hard to do things w/o Pup here. I apologize to anyone who has PM'd me about user names, bans, LS boards and other general beefs, best I can do is foreward them to Pup. :?
 
I vote for asia.. i mean.. who would flame asia? so no worry about posts about her, so hopefully she wont just delete posts that make her friends look bad

If that were to happen, I would certainly expect all rights to be taken from me, and such post deletion would certainly destroy any reputation I may have here.

The only posts I would delete would be the type I described a page or so back, and if a post was questionable, I would call for a vote in which majority would rule.

I also have no problem with not being a regular flameboard poster If I were to become mod, unless of course I'm asked a question publicly that required a public response.

Even if I am not chosen to be mod, I still stand behind the idea of giving this board a watchdog, and in the true democratic spirit, I would stand behind whoever was chosen.
