More on the main topic: When I'm out, I'm confident that I can talk to, and make myself attractive to any woman in the vicinity. Now, 99% of the time, this is obviously not true, but if I trick myself into believing it, I can create some self-confidence (of course, a few beers never hurt either) and therefore come off as the smart, kinda-cocky, alpha male that most girls seem to enjoy the company of.

It's a work in progress, but walk into a bar or party or whatever your social event of choice is and believe you can take home any girl there. You'll be surprised with the results.

Or they could settle for averages or plain Janes. Silly boys; there is a medium between hot and ugly filled with very pretty girls that are not drop dead gorgeous like models, but attractive none the less.

Fun little observation..

To some less fortunate guys, any girl that isn't ugly is hot

and to some more fortunate guys, any girl that isn't hot is ugly

edit: as an aside, I see things the way Zeph describes. I often meet guys who are perplexed when I answer "neither" to "is that girl hot or ugly"...
