It's not about being bitter. It's about the people complaining about their misfortunes. Yes, I used to be one of them, although I think I have started maybe 5 posts tops on this flameboard. Shit happens, get over it. We don't need to hear about it. Blame it on a "server hiccup" if you want, which I rarely ever got on FFXI so they can't be that normal. When the rest of us want to hear about it, we will let you know.

isnt every flame on this flameboard in some way / anyway a misfortune? i think it is.

eg. people stealing your NM: lame, awful thing to do, but yet unfortunate

It seems to me I am in the majority most of the time. I love how 90% of the people in the Flameboard complain about the lack of a decent flame, but when someone has any slight misfortune and flames SE, everyone automatically hands them a cookie and says "OMG I AM SO SORRY, SE IS SHIT AND YOU ARE COOL AND THAT SHOULDN'T HAPPEN!" Get real people and grow up. Shit happens and we don't need to hear about every little booboo you get.

Can you people see Lanien is trying to make this into a "Better" flame? FFXI is a cold... Bitter Mistress... Like a cheap hooker, that you barely have enough to afford, but you do it anyway. One that laughs at you when your naked, and also laughs that you only lasted 10 seconds... But what choice do you have? She's the only one you can afford!

Lanien is just trying to do what he can to make this into a raging fire so everyone who plays FFXI could have a warmer night.

You could complain about every shit stain this board has to offer. The fact of the matter is, even if it were the ISP's fault, people are still going to be sympathetic. The situation at hand was very unlucky. There are plenty of threads with weaker flames than this.

And I concede. Yes, there is always tomorrow. But wake up and read the post, not everyone of us has such luck claiming that crab.

Tell me what I have to be bitter about? The only reason being better would even be relevant here is if I camped KA all the time and never got claim. Fact of the matter is I have been to that camp once with Lyrai and the shit never even popped. So am I bitter? No, I don't think so. Am I sick of weak flames that don't belong here? Yes, yes I am.
