Ok it's ONE strength and NO attack. A parser couldn't even see the difference between amemet+1 and forager's I guarantee it. There is no difference. OMG 33% more strength!!!1!10...no. Dumbasses pay 1.3 million for 1 more strength at 71. And then if they ever think about leveling another meleer, they have to buy amemet+1 again or do without for 10 levels. Level restriction is an asset. The lower, the better.

Why strive for anything HQ or rare? Level 14 AGI +2 rings are 20k and +1 rings are like 2k each. HQ elemental staves only offer a 10% improvement for 6x the NQ price. Why get the 2 STR and 3% Haste from a 3 million Brown Belt when a Purple Belt is only 10k or so?

And if they aren't buying the item for the stats, they're buying it for the investment. The worst place you can have gil is in your wallet when you can put it into gear or a craft and profit off it. Forager's has gone up to 2.4 million from about 1.55 in May, if I remember right. The value of gil is always going down, whereas the value of items will, in general, rise. I can't tell you the profit I've made through the intense effort of "Buy item, put on mule, sit for 3-4 weeks, resell for 30-50% profit."
 
So it's not idiots who buy it, and not anal-retentives...but it's mooching gil prospectors?

if you strive to get every + stats possible it will add up over time. you cant just be like "omg thats ONLY 1 more str im getting this NQ" because if you just get that +1str on say 2-3 other items thats 2-3 more str you didnt have before.

Dragoon doesn't really get much of ranged weaponry :\ want a DRG to do Ranged Attack.. you don't know the dragoon job D:
 
So wait. Is mooching wanting too little for an item (Dynamis currency buyers) or is it wanting too much for an item (people playing the AH?)
 
Here's the thing: it won't add up. Ever. You'll never be better than an amemet+1 wearer. You can't pick up 7 strength across the board by doing this. You can pick up 1. And you lose your integrity, because your dumb ass paid 1.3 million gil for 1 strength point at level 71.
 
ppl have monie, for that they spend monie, its a flashier item then the other, so yea

I do understand. And it won't add up. It's the same argument that everyone makes...ohh but if you buy the HQ of everything and put the best of everything on it'll all add up and you'll become a great performer!

No, you won't. It's 1 strength point, and you paid 1.3 million gil for it. That's ridiculous.

its just like the lv.74 rings, ZOMG U PAY 1.7MIL FOR +1 INT theyr n00bs!!! and so on for other rings, even more for others... start flaming them now?
 
Umm . . . supply and demand? It's rarer than an Amemet Mantle +1, and it's technically better for most melee. Same, if not more demand than Amemet, less supply, thus higher price.
 
Sucks how that Foragers he sold was dropped off a ENM I did for him and he hasn't sent me the money yet :evil:
