Hi, I already fucking mentioned BC and Events. Amemet mantles are lv61. Events and BCs are absofuckinglutely irrelevant to deciding which mantle is better.

Hi, I wasn't talking about amemets moron. I was talking about a BC60 set. I plainly typed BC60 set there. Is amemet 60? No. I show up to capped areas equipped to the teeth, because that's worth more than blowing 1.3 million gil mindlessly on +1 strength so you can get your xp on.

Because if you have gil for a Forager's you couldn't possibly have gil for anything else.

It's still irrelevant to having gear for missions and BCs. What if you already have incremented gear? WHAT IF THIS IS ONE OF THE FEW THINGS TO UPGRADE WITHOUT GOING TOTALLY OVERBOARD SPENDING 4 MILLION ON EACH RING.

Or I could already have the best possible gear at that level. I'm sorry If I don't want to shoot for being an average player, when I know that I could be a good/great player with a little more effort.

I could also just do the ENM and get the mantle for free, but I guess I'd be an idiot even then too, huh?
 
I wouldn't bet on it. After all, they did prove themselves to lack what it takes by showing up in the forager's buyer column. Please, the only "best" these people care about is when they're standing in jeuno LFmerits. They sell whatever they can to stay on the frontier of "best." Probably have to squat the AH every time they have to enter a capped area, only to come up with sub-xp gear.
 
Well, this thread atleast proves Peregrine doesn't skim off the top of his Dynamis Currency, otherwise he'd have the gil to drop on this Mantle and not cry about the price or the people who have the means/gil to obtain one. :?

So your entire argument is based off the glaring assumption that people who have gil to buy the best possible +STR back piece can't equip themselves for capped events they may or may not do?

No, it's that they're too stupid to think of a better way to spend 1.3 million. And please...there is always a better way to spend 1.3 million.
 
Theres plenty of factors as to why this mantle costs so much.

1) It's better than Amemet+1 for any non-ranged using Physical damage job around.
2) It comes from ENMs. Yeah. ENMs. You know.. can only do one once every 5 days?
3) Since it's an ENM, it's not a guaranteed drop.
4) Unlike Amemet, the treasure boxes don't fork out between 1-4 Forager Mantles.
5) Unlike Amemet, you can't do these every 2~3 Hours.
6) It can't be mass manufactured like +1s.

Yeah, sorry that since it's harder to obtain and absolutely better, that it deserves a higher price tag, abd yet is still proportionally cheaper than an Amemet +1.
