I'd really love for you to point out where that was, I generally only post if I actually have something to say. Regardless of this "historical evidence," just ignoring people making valid points only weakens your position. I don't judge myself on equipment alone. But in an MMORPG, unfortunantly, it's one of the most basic things that build who you are.

Unfortunantly for you, I help people for free. I buy things/give them gil if they can't afford what they're looking at, within reason anyway.

Everyone that knows me will see through my gear, and know that I'm a nice guy, and know how to play my job, hence why I wanted to better my job, by buying the best upgrade I can that had the best +Stat:gil ratio.

This makes no sense. I, for one, only have one equip set for my Monk. Why?

1) I don't play in capped Ballista. Hell, I rarely play in uncapped Ballista.
2) The 30-40 cap stuff I use other jobs for.
3) I don't do BC50s and BC60s because I'm saving my seals for 30/40 cap BCs.

But I should still neglect the things I do with my character the most to better equip it for the things I don't do?

You'd think that someone using weapons that peak out at a low attack value(daggers) would want as much STR as they can get to force those numbers up against a Mobs VIT, thus not hitting for 0 as much.
