Worse is winged boots, they dont give you the 2nd warning like leaping boots, or any item that is either Rare, Ex or Rare/Ex.

I had a friend drop a pair of Cure Clogs because he was tired and in lag central, back when they were still 700k.

I've thrown out a genius ring on accident the same way, when my connection speed dropped to 65%, and I didn't notice.

If I can't fit stuff in my mog house from whm when I'm leveling a lower level job, I bazaar it. Sorry if I'm a waste of your bazaar-checking-time.^^ But last thing I need to do is loose my vermie or my Steppe Stone because my connection spazzed, as it so often likes to do. 400k is a good two weeks worth of my time that I don't want to have to respend again on something I should already have accomplished. ^^

Another non showing off reason to put expensive stuff: macros with item switches, anytime I'm lvling my staff I like to use my treat staff to do 0 dmg to sleeping crabs, the problem: my sleep/aspir/stoneskin/blink macros all have switches for staves in them, so I always put up all my staves on bazaar so I only have what I need. I've also done that to my black cloak (I updated some macros before I actually lvld, and since I couldn't wear it it gave big red errors everytime I casted one of those spells) and also for several other occasions put up stuff because of my macros.

So putting my items in my bazaar makes your penis small?

*Puts everything he possibly fuckin can in his bazaar*

(|Bazaar|)(|Please check it.|)

lol I used to put the following in my bazaar:

Bibiki Slug
Black Pepper
Rock Salt

For of course: 99,999,999 G

My comment still to this day reads something along the lines of:

Yay! Look at me! I got worthless
crap in my bazaar for 99,999,999 G too!
Aren't I cool!!!

Unfortunately for many reasons I had to take me down:

1) Peolpe saw a corrolation between the Pepper, the Slug, and the Salt... And thought I was some kind of Sicko (If only they Knew)...
2) I got in the habbit of giving some rather interesting MT's to the Thundering Fucksticks that would Commend me....
3) People do not grasp Satire very well...
4) I need the space.

None the less... It's probably one of the most obnoxious things in this game. You see I am hunting for certain Items, I.E: Byne Bills... And I gotta come in contact with some narcissistic corn that passed through the Colon of life... Listen... it's bad enough I have to sift through shit... I don't want any texture thanx...

I'm proud of my gear, I don't show it off, but I am proud of it.

I figure I'd be entitled to show it off if I wanted to. It wouldn't hurt anything.

...although I do kind of go :? when I look in a bazaar and time and again only fight eyeballs and hawkers knives.

1. Yea I check everyone's bazaar at a habit and its getting painstakingly annoying that 90% of them arent selling anything.

2. Why do people sell stuff in their bazaars for MORE then the AH price? Bazaars are meant to be more then slightly discounted from the AH to reward your customers with saving you taxes and AH selling time. As well as the time it takes to seek out what their looking for in bazaars....

Yous not fooling anyone by selling at a slightly lower cost then AH, stop being greedy and actually sell it at a decent discount! Thats the point of bazaars.

3. Only time I use my bazaar is when Im melee'ing and as a mage all my macro's switch my staves around and I lose TP, so I put em all into Bazaar so I dont switch... times like these are the only time I see reasonable to put stuff into your bazaar at infinite prices.

Its the only way you can check JPN without them being offended to high hell. If they have a bazaar up that means you can check them, otherwise you are commiting a sin worse then murdering a lil girl in their country. A very interesting people...

Funny thing about this, if someone has a bazaar, I'll check without asking (shame on me?) but I'll go straight to the bazaar - stupid thing about that, I tend to get the change-equip boot either way. What, is it perverted to see what you have for sale?

"Hey, wanna see what I got in my coat?"
"Wow, what a big shotgun! Is it pump-action?"

Ugh... one thing about bazaars is the prices are usually horribly inflated over AH price... wind crystals for 500g each? I mean come on.

I do not know how many people sell crystals for the price of a stack...

The few times that I have sold items through bazaar I set the prices right at AH prices. The only times I have opened a bazaar is when my mules and my main can't put everything up for sell on the AH. As far as I am concerned the bazaar isn't for me to sell things cheaper than AH prices to sell things as quickly as possible, as much as it is to maximize my profit. If nobody has bought anything from my bazaar hopefully I have some extra spots now available in the AH. I find it hilarious when people send you a /tell asking you to move away from "their bazaar spot". As long as I am not sitting on you it shouldn't be a problem.

No, it's not. The point is just to sell stuff. Just like AH, I can put my stack of sardines up for sale at 200k--and it's up to the rest of you to laugh in my face and not buy them. If I want to sell faster, I can put stuff up for a discount, but then, the same goes for the AH. There's no "fooling" anyone going on--the price on the item is there for the world to see, and no one's making anyone pay it.

i had the same opinion. but i started carrying around my light and dark staffs with me at my level to let parties know that if i level i have them, and just never took them off. It kind of helped me out in the dunes while trying to school some white mages, IDK. It kind of to me, says, hey, i have these items, this is my high job, etc.

I think keeping random crap in your bazaar at stupid amounts is still corny. but my light and dark staffs.. i think it kind of just says something about my higher job etc, but i feel ya man.. it is stupid.

but stupid is as stupid does, and even pandas can be noobs sometimes..

So what if I put shit in my bazaar for 99,999,999,999....I don't want to lose it or sell it....Capieche?

For all of you who sit in towns like Jeuno, Sando, Bastcock, Windhurst...muling your life away....Goto Selbina and mule away there.

Why?

Does it take a fucking genius to figure this out?

I made a lot of profit when I did this.........Bought 10-15 stacks of Mithkabobs and went to Valkurm Dunes.

Supply & Demand 101.

Way back in the day, I remember 12 kabobs costing 2,000-2,500gil on the Sandorian market... Pies would also sell fairly well.

...Bring those to Valkurm Dunes and they sell like hot cakes.

Even when I priced them as high as 500 per kabob....People would still buy them.

I easily would double my original investment and laugh at all the 'tards who forgot their food in their Mog House.

So if you think Bazaars are purely for discount............Think again.

The major reason i have a bazaar up 90% of the time is b/c i do not want to forget god spawn items in my mog >_< so i leave them in my inventory in a way i cannot move them. Further more, lag can cause multiple drops... if you press enter a few times b/c it does not seem to go through sometimes the item next in list will be dropped as well. At least... this has happened in my experiance.

I think that showing off items at the max price is a good thing to do sometimes... when playing whm, for example, i had erase in my bazaar when i was lvl 30 until i used it. This was not to say "look at me, i am great!" but rather an attempt to show i took the job seriously. Likewise, when i take mages to 50 i will probably have my staffs in bazaar... i just like to let people know i am ready, sorry if it offends anyone.
