Thoughts and what not...

The game is fun for a bit, although it frustrated/lacked interest for me to the point of returning back to FFXI. Another reason that held me back to FFXI though is I felt I had a lot of incomplete goals and I wanted to finish some more of these goals. I think I may wait until lvl 99 cap is out in FFXI and until I hit that and some of the extra stuff.

I may just wait it out until PS3 release in March mind you because I'm more of a console player and I often lose interest playing games on a PC anyways. By the time March PS3 release comes, FFXIV will probably have it's very expansion and the game will be much more established by then. I may consider logging in every now and then though and do some leves or check out any of the newest updates so I'm not too much in the loops. If I can link my FFXI and FFXIV account (Which I think I can only do after FFXIV trial is over) then I'll end up paying about $15 per month which is only a few dollars more than what FFXI costs alone.

My mind changes all the time though, even in FFXI I usually want to do one thing then change my mind and do another thing. Sometimes I can stay focused to finish with one thing though if it's something I really want The same may hold true for me playing FFXI more than FFXIV, I might change my mind and decide I want to play full time in FFXIV.

I'm surprised you've shelved it honestly. You were doing so much and I was amazed how fast you ranked up. Oh well

So basically we have the people who are going to wait for better content/patches but keep playing and those who are going to wait for better content/patches but NOT keep playing until then.

And the people like me, who don't have enough playtime to get through the content that's already available. At the rate I'm going, I'll probably be just reaching the "endgame" of XIV, such as it is, by the time the PS3 version launches and we hypothetically get more content.

Seems like it. I'm waiting for now. There are other games I need to play anyway so I'll use the downtime before I inevitability get sucked in and don't touch another game.

I had to cancel my game subscription for now because of all the BS going on in my life. I will quite possibly return though! Its not like I dislike the game, just too much IRL going on :(

Hope everything gets better, Ellistrae.

I haven't been logging on due to lack of care for any of the crap in the game. XD
Just been playing console games when I actually have time.. And that time is going away soon, since I'm going to be working Monday-Friday doing my deliveries instead of just Thursday-Friday.. But it's good money, at least.
