It's the most important question we all face as we sit in our mog house, taking a look over our equipment.

We've got the High quality fishing gloves, we've got our waders, we've got our apron, heck we even maybe have the dream boots +1 for longer lasting sneaks.

But that still leaves on slot for our character.

So I ask all you fishermen out there, when you're suiting up to go fish, what hat do you wear? =o
 
lol same question was on the titanictus forums a few weeks back... I wear my RDM AF if I'm ever wearing anything but 9 times out of 10 I put every last peice of gear in my mog and just fish with 4 items on me (Apron, Lu Shange, Rod, Linkshell) for more room when catching big fish.

But for real I'd wear a rain hat if I could get one... but the NM is such a homo to pop...

Myself I always wear my rusty cap. Concediring its only avialble through fishing it up, and it's actually a really tricky rusty item to pull compared to the rest, I think SE mad eit match the fishing gear on purpose.

Come on, it matches it perfectly!

I always wear my Goblin Coif. But I sometimes wear those Dandy Spectacles, but not too often.

I've been wearing the Traveler's Hat for years. It really matches up, I think. Here's one of my old sigs:

Agreed Hal, used to be the hat I wore when digging and fishing all the time, til I got my rusty cap.

I'd say traveler's is #2 on my list =D
 
I was always a naked fisher, but i purposely completed the newest event for something more interesting to wear :D
 
I see my girl wear her Windshear hat (obtained from some quest in windy) when she goes fishing. Seems to fit.
 
Looking through the .dats, I'd say the top 3 matching hats are:

Rusty/padded cap

Any wool type hate

The thf AF2 hat.
 
Yeh, Windshear/Travelers/Corsair hat (not AF) match really well with the fishing gear.

My Fishin pole My Fishin hat, a Flannel Shirt, Blue Jeans, my TackleBox, a Foldin chair, and Cooler full of beer
 
I use my glodsmithing glasses.
 
Whatever I have on at the time, which 95% of the time is faerie hairpin.
 
I generally wore my blm AF+1 hat because to me it always looked like an old, ugly fishing hat, and because that's what I was usually wearing anyway. Sometimes I'd break out the old cooking hat for the added coolness factor. Hard to get cooler than that chef's hat. >.>
