Yes I know you are just talking in game, but do you think anyone really cares? Do you think people are sleep-deprived because Cid invented airships or that the humes sniped the elvaans? I think you have too much time invested into something that will never help you in real life or even in the game.
And on a final note, if you are really going to stress that Bastok>everything, then please remember that all the nations are; in fact, equal. They all have their stereotypes, weaknesses, and strengths which make them all come out to be the same.

Well it looks to me like you -do- care. And you're right, it won't help my. But of course, people have the gulls to kill each other over religion and argue over politics even tho in the end it won't do anything. 2 people can argue their brains out about politics and they alone won't be able to do that much. You can kill Christians but that does not mean people will still not believe in Christianinty. If you don't care so much, shut the hell up and leave the discussion. Yes, I know -gamewise- the nations are equal, it has to frikin be because it's a -game-. A lot of time reality gets nipped in the ass to make way for balance. However, the population of each nation is -not- balanced, and that's how it is and I accept it.

You got to realize, that this is nothing like star wars. This isn't a set crap, this is a game and this game pits nation vs nation. I was passionate because weither you like it or not, to most players who care about their nation see their nation like people do football teams. Some teams win, some nations wins, everyone argues which is better stating past wins ect, but it really doesn't matter and it won't help you play football or watch it any better, yet people still go all out for their team,no? However, I doubt someone will kill someone else because of football. That's what I'm more related to, not some nerd star wars kid you seem see too often.
People diss bastok over and over, and as a Bastokan I defend my nation. Everyone is smug with their conquest victory, so I whip out the game's history. So please, -you- go home and whine about how there are people who care about the things they like most. As you probably know, games like these demand a huge ammount of time, and if I'm going to spend so much time playing something I know I'm going to have a part of my soul in it, because it's such a frikin part of my daily life.. Basically we all work to in reality finance our pleasures, everyone would like to be rich, but what can you use money on? Pleasures, good food, a nice house, a good comp. We all like different things, it's not surprising to see a person who loves football a lot have a "football" room, they have a nice large widescreen tv and football posters up of players, a nice table and good chairs basically the perfect football center. Of course some people can't afford it or don't give a crap, they just watch it whenever. Just different degrees.

Yes, there is tension between the Galka and the Hume. It's not eveb near the slavery most people say it is, though. First of all, you have to understand 2 things:The galka are mad mostly because of hume don't really give a damn about them. The galka are also mad because we use them for physical labor.
Now you also need to know the Galka don't have a home anymore, we -gave- them one. If aliens (peaceful) came on earth today, and told us their home had been destroyed, and they wish to live on earth with us if we permit it . We we just up and give all our governments to them. "Sure, earth is yous now, we'll do what you say and we'll suck your cocks even tho it's our planet!" Don't think so. The Galka were given a home, and well I hope they expected that they would have to -work- for food. Maybe they didn't understand the Hume ways or whatever, but physical labor was something they could do well and didn't require much understanding anyways. They could always go back to their sunken Antica ruled island if they want, or go build their own god damn city if they feel mistreated. Besides most of the galka (rather a large part of it) discontent comes from that little event, that happened long ago. Their tale keeper went bye bye, and that galka drk should been the next IM leader, bla bla.
Anyways, yes, I enjoy this game and if it pisses you people that I like go deeper into the game then most people and/or exercise what I know of it, just don't read my posts.
