Tornado hits Toronto

We had a Tornado warning the other day and everything. I never thought I'd ever see this happen. Three of them in one day.

We have some occasionally in Sweden, but its further south =( And its nowhere near the same strength, usually just some fallen trees.

Yea it was pretty crazy eh!

I was really distracted on the way home from Oakville on the 407 going to B-town. The storm was on my tail lol.

A co-worker of mine lives in Vaughan and said she watched the thing go down the street next to hers ripping everything up!!

But it was bound to happen.

Looks like about an F2, possibly a weak F3. I know most of Canada doesn't usually get these types of storms, but one thing you definitely DO NOT want to do is stand next to large, plate-glass windows! LOL

Yeah.. I don't think Canada, specifically Ontario, is used to anything like that. I remember seeing a funnel ONCE in my entire life.

Out in the boonies outside of Toronto, we just got the lightning show and high winds. I think it rained for about 30 minutes. The power did go out, but it was back by 11. I got to read some Edgar Allan Poe by candle light, woot.

Hit..Cheebs.. I hope the tornado didn't ruin Wonderland (insert Dur face here).
