can anyone translate the following?

ブレインジャックですが、銀海のボスもターゲットに対して正面を向かないのですが、撃つ直前にターゲット正面を向く→ブレインジャックとなる挙動は確認しています。
ですので、回避は難しいのではないかと…。視線判定ではありませんし。

向きを変えたあと、盾もすぐに横に移動するとどうなるのかは確認していないです。(あるいは防げるかもしれませんが…。)

What the heck is brain jack and what is the context? I'm assuing its... FFXI related but I don't remember any mobs that use a WS called brain jack...

Brain jack is the weaponskill used by the Silver Sea Remenants boss. It causes a rather strong Bio effect, as well as charm. Every time it uses it, it uses it around 4 times in a row, thus charming 4 people.

The text I took it from talks about it possibly being a gaze move. But Babelfish kind of screwed the translation up, so I'm not sure wheither they said it could be avoided by not facing L-A-C or not.

Basically, I'm trying to write a Silver Sea Remenants strategy. Currently, the only strategy NA people have found is DoT kiting him to death. So I'm reading up on some Japanese sites to see if they've found an alternate strategy. There must be a way to avoid Brain Jack, just like there's a way to avoid Homing Missines from L-B-C, and the frontal 3000 nails move from B-C-C.

the only moves people haven't found a way to avoid yet is Brain Jack from Silver Sea Remenants boss, and AoE status drain from the Arrapago boss.

This isn't a new BBS so people posting here probably won't be opposed? Or so I've been thinking today recently.

It's about BrainJack but we also don't face forward when we target the silver seas boss but, we're confirming that if you're facing forward just before the attack-> you'll be hit by BrainJack. Therefore, I think evading this attack is difficult isn't it...? It's not a gaze attack after all. It hasn't been confirmed what happens after you change your position, if you move your tanks to the side. (You might be able to defend this way but...)

Oh well... I still have the theory that he charms the first 4 people to attack him after using brain jack. Haven't had a chance to try it myself though =/

Offcourse. I'm a perfectionist >.<; That's why I have Aalea taking care of that in Dynamis <.<; If I do it I just overdo it -.- won't stop untillits exactly the way I want it to be. Should see the spread sheets I made... includes the name, everyone's lvled jobs, total jobs per person, ToAU mission rank, assault rank, main lot, sub lot. From which I then put everyone in ToAU mission parties, and balanced a spossible assault statics.

Also includes a function which automatically searches and counts how many of each job we have. I still need to figure out how to make it search and count main and sub lotters for each set though =/

I also have a spread sheet with what drops where more complete then the one on ffxi wikipedia <.<; And a spread sheet for every person showing which items they have so I can easily see who have what items. And I don't even feel half done yet.

Did I mention its all color coded? <.<; with different colors per line so that you can easily spot information for everything...
