Treasure of Aht Urhgan revealed

The French site confirmed it was a blue mage (if you trust the site). It also used the term compitentcies, which makes me think you will actually act similarly to a pet in that you will cast your manticore compitency and then use a random manticore attack. I kinda wish they did make it a TP mage, but again, if you believe the site, it says MP.

Looks interesting, but untill I get my fully automated berserker job, I will just have to keep bitching. :lol:

I think Blue Mage will have a 10 minute or so ability simelar to FFVIIIs "Draw" where you absorb the ability.

The site doesn't state anything for sure and only bases its comments on gamewatch.com report and what you can see in the ruliweb vid.
 
Well you gotta think that the more jobs that there are the longer people will play the game and the more diverse the game will become. Which is a good thing because I wanna get a damn job to 75 before it dies out but with my life I never get enough time to play to do that.
 
It looks like Bluemage.. Cause in the VID he uses Spider web and that raptor breath... I'm pretty sure that isn't a Geomancer specialty... or a terrorist one at that..

Damn all these speculations drives me up the wall. Whatever square has planned I am sure I it will be suffice to keep people playing longer. It will be funny when you can't get a pt going because everyone wants to be the new jobs. I really hope they put out even more then 3 jobs, but a man can only wish. I think it will be awesome when the strategies for everything in the game change.

Most of the best "spells" BLU could use is AoE. Spider Web, Breath attacks, Bomb Toss. All AoE, way too risky to use in party situations :\.

Depends on the location. A lot of the endgame exp locations are either roam, or singe pull somewhere safe. So it's great there.

Now wouldn't it be better if the symbol for blue mages was BUM, i think that would be better.........
