Treat Staff nerfed?

That seems to be the case from most posters on Allakazham. Now that Halloween is over, the requirements to activate the latent warp effect seem to be changed. Probably the same as last years Halloween event, in which it needs to be Darksday, Full Moon, and at nighttime (or something close to that).

Glad I gave up on the Halloween event, I was wasting too much gil and not getting anything, made me upset. :cry:
 
The trick staff not recharging was a disapointmnet... Wish there was a quest or something to do to recharge it.
 
/sigh i wasted about 14k (couldve been used for my gf's spells and such) on this event and i got a trick staff 1 (HP+1% MP+1%) a pumpkin head(emnity +1) and a dozen jack o lanterns, worth next to nothing

Also, Jack-o'-Lanterns (I'm filthy with the damn things too) might go up in price as time goes by and supplies dry up (I mean, you can cook them, but it doesn't seem a lot of people do) and now that people know what the stats are on them. :shock:
 
i guess, they dont look all THAT cool, i mean its a stick with a bat on the end and a pumpkin with a hole cut in the bottom and cloth stuck around the rim, Jack o lanterns MIGHT go up in price, guess we should advertise to anyone who doesnt know what they do huh? lol
 
Hehe, I've been trying to give my Jack-o'-Lanterns to a certain Galka DRK whose name rhymes with Spenkax but he insists on being a big pain about it. :evil: :twisted:
 
Perhaps I can also offer my Jack 'O Lanterns to this person whose name rhymes with Spenkax of which you speak?

Today i went out hunting without my BLM subbed, and when i went to use my Treat staff, It would not take me home. I've killed several Gobs in Maze of Shakrami. (with the Treat staff, and i have no staff skill in meleeing might i add) And i also exited to the outer area to smash bunnies and Ka's with the Treat staff. It simply did not work. After several minutes of frustration, i then went to the Teleport Mea Craig and took a chocobo back to Jeuno. So when i want to hunt NM's with a fast sub, i'll be spending conquest points on the instant warp scrolls once again.
 
You got it lucky buddy. I must of spent... Iono 50-60k on freaking fruit and got only 6/8 items, and got about 3dozen lanterns. Your lucky you quit at 14k

Mine is still recharging normally. I think it's probably just the Treat Staff, and not the other two staves since they're enchantments.

i got the treat staff II and still havent use it since i got it, i wanna know if you can still use it every 5 days??? , i got lucky getting the staff II, i only spent 300gil on the farie apples, and in less then 3 minutes i got it, i was so happy, it took me long to get the pumking head, and ive heard that people spent over 10k to get the staff and fail, i know that i will treasure my staff forever 8)

Got me a Trick staff II and a Treat staff II spend a stuid amount of time n gil on it but now i can save up those conquests points n buy something sweet without wasting them on a scroll of warp like i always do so i say trick or treating was definitly worth it! :D
 
I really don't think the staff (the one with the latent Warp, that is) is going to save people CP--seems pretty unreliable as to what triggers the Warp. Go and level BLM instead =P
