Just finished the fourth episode of True Blood. Jason's reaction to the vampire blood was priceless. The doctor cracked me up with "It looks sorta like an eggplant."

I really enjoyed Jason's character in season one. Am I the only one who wants to kick him in the face this season? I just roll my eyes everytime one of his camp scenes come up.
 
Again, way off canon, but I would like to kick him in the face (not hard though, he's so pretty :3) for being at that camp. He is that stupid in the books though. Fuckin' dumber than a bag of rocks. Anyone that can give Pam enough pause to be like "Wow you're too dumb to be a pet" is staggering.

I dont like Eric's hair... He's a fucking viking. Viking's had long hair. Its incredibily difficult to make Skaarsgard look bad but... Idk, Eric should have long hair... still eyecandy though :3 I hope they do Dallas right. They're already skewed a bit since Jason's in the Fellowship and they're saying Godric is a sheriff. Should be interesting to see how it turns out.

I don't mind Jason being stupid, his stupidity is generally hilarious. I mind him having misguided "morals".

I'd take the short hair if he agrees never to wear the stupid blue athletic suit thing again. :glare:

I'm almost finished with the first season. I'd be watching the finale right now except I had to leave for work. /sigh

I'm planning to. My sister has some of them and we're hitting the beach in a few weeks, so she's going to bring them along.
 
I hope you like first person narrative. I had to chew through it at first but got quite used to it.

Doesn't bother me a bit, but it remains to be seen how I'll like it from Sookie. In a lot of ways, she's the character I find least interesting. We'll see how it goes when I'm stuck with her 24-7 as the narrator. She's not exactly Anita Blake.

Update: Just finished watching the finale. What a way to end it.

second season seems a bit more drawn out then the first, but the sudden plot changes and surprise of both seasons make this interesting to watch. Plus it one the more realistic vampire anything that come out for awhile. Kind of glad the strayed from the book on the Lafitte character he one the more interesting characters in the series.
 
Lafayette is the best character on the damn show. He's the only gay character I've ever liked on TV.

Godric rocks. He only had like 5 lines and 2 minutes of screen time, but I liked him already.
 
I'm totally with you on that. I'm anxious to see more of his character.
