My thought:
1) There is a choice involved.. the first hit and after.. noone becomes absolutely addicted after the first hit of something.. you don't crave anything to that point.. no drug i've ever seen addicts the first moment it enters your system.
2) Mokk's point behind natural birth appears to be that it's a pregnancy where the mother did not use any drugs, in which case the child is not at a higher pre-disposition of doing drugs than any other normal, healthy child.
3) Drug-heads/Addicts seek the next high.. whatever.. that's a common argument too. Now, admittedly I haven't been around a lot of people that do Heroine or Cocaine in my life, but i have seen those who do.. and i've never EVER known someone who smokes pot want to build anything more than a new bong.. and most certainly not new addictions. It's always offered to them by someone who tells them it's harmless and safe and it's someone they've come to trust. i.e. the pusher.. There's quite a difference in that and blaming it on the drug.
4) Once someone is physically addicted it is still not a "disease" per se, but it is beyond choice at that point. Someone needs to intervene, so you are both sort of right in that.
I think that's all I really have to say.
