Ok, so as most of you know me as whm isa...No one, notta one person has had 1 bad thing to say about me...if so maybe that i joke a lil too much, but im lol funny and a blast to pt with... OK so here i am as my smn (my next main) at a pt @ gustav tunnel. So, Zylia is leader, asked me to pt, sure...wife was comin home real soon as if some of you know, my wife has ranged attack on my ffxi disc twice before. >.> no joke... anyways finally im done doin what im doing and i get back...

So the whole arguement starts up with some sam, idk what their name was mort somethin...anyways says Look your always boastin about your damn mp and your not curing, whm has 0 mp and you always have 600+ (max is 750ish) then zylia (whm) starts in you need to cure dammit, im like ok i will jeez, the sams like now your curing cuz whm is /healing dammit, got it? im like i know shit im frikkin curing ok dammit i also reference that i know that im 75 whm, zylia says i got 2x 75 job, now what? (OBVIOUSLY YOU DONT KNOW HOW TO PLAY WHM THEN! frikkin kept throwing away mp (ever hear of regen either?) I say why are we standing around, whm can /heal and ill cure. I sorta had company and wife was home and i can admit my head wasnt in the game. So after that nothing is said and im focusing straight on the game, curing alot, only summoning for aeriel armor and whm has lots of mp and i do too. Ssoulja leaves and zylia says he had to go. Ok so all is good we were killin as fast as we could cuz another pt had the front camp, so sorta long pulls minus the bats that pop.

Then all of a sudden the blm D2s me and ssoulja was back /goodbyeing me i /t zylia wtf is up with you, says your job is not benificial and i got a bard and your attitude was bad. Im like to do somethin like that,to set up this whole plan to D2 me w/o sayin anything is a noobish thing i wouldnt expect from a x2 75 job person idc who the fuck they are. in the end, fuck you zylia, from what i hear from friends including people from the other pt infront of us, you are a jack ass elitist and doesnt play that well... from your quote unquote whm skillz, i can see that. So i soloed my 30 exp and hit 40 SMN (889 MP <--- im such an mp whore im really sorry ; and to the other sam and nin (who were cool as hell) this isnt directed towards you. Ive never-wever had any problems with anyone and vice versa until now...i feel bad it happened. I got pwnt by zylia or as a dear friend said punted... now created the hybrid word PUWNT... fun night love drama, love you guys

apparently, after the smoke settled, i thought everything was good, and it was...but obviously zy was more concerned with making the pt better brd>smn i know this too its sorta hard makin a pt with me as smn, i know as whm, i would always rdm or brd>smn and i think i only pted w/ a smn couple times otw to 75...also the pld DCed and i said a nin was avail. I had them on standby, zy said the ninwas comin already, the pld came back 15 min later... .t asked me where we were, said leader found ninja so he warped...i mean all is good, i was quite amused by the whole thing and still am

Im going to have to say there was a very huge lack of communication here. I know both of you. Zylia is a nice person and would never do anything like that w/o some reason to do so, and i knwo you are a great guy to pt with. Since i pt with you all the time lol.

This should probubly just be closed, i dont see how its going anywhere. 2 good people who just happend to hit eachothers wrong sides.

If you're a SMN and within 100MP from full yet the WHM is running on empty then you're obviously not backup healing, which means you're only doing BPs at absolute most, which means yes, you are totally wasting the party slot.

I've had tons of parties on my WHM with SMNs that don't cure all that much and I never really had a problem with MP. Hell now with the seperation of blood pacts I bet SMN would even have to cure less with a WHM that knows what they are doing. AOE Stoneskin/Aerial Armor then bring out the avatar that you are going to burst with.

Wow.... just wow. First of all I don't know where to begin. Did anyone come close to dying? I mean if the Whm is drained and Smn can easily support with massive mp, if you aren't curing... then how are people still alive? And with the seperation of Blood Pacts, using 75% blood pacts for Dmg and Support would be the most beneficial use of the Smn.

As being a retired bard, yes a bard is a GREAT support role, but don't boot a job just for something else that you feel "benefits" the party better. That is just wrong. And now with Smn new abilities, if played to fullest potential can really be just as good. I don't understand how you had 600+ mp when they were drained.... I never drained my mp ever as Whm on this or any other characters once I acquired Regen (II, III as well). Maybe you guys were taking on stuff too high for your level? Naw, you were in range for where you were leveling.

If you HAVE to tell a Smn to support cure, then yeah that's bad, but if you ASSUME that they aren't/won't becasue they have alot of MP and your drained might be you overcuring or not using the proper spells. They might just be conserving MP SINCE you are draining yourself. Don't just assume since your "uberleet" that other people don't know how to play their job.

Lets afk in jeuno for 30mins as the party wants to head out. Lets take our dear sweet time getting through valkurm (gustav camp) while everyone's waiting even longer at camp. Lets astral flow on the very first pull just cause its so uber cool to see. Lets spend half the PT arguing game dynamics with people who are performing their roles a thousand times better than you are.

Even better, lets stop posting flames when we don't know what the hell we're talking about.

This I do agree with, and will have a little chat with Zylia about it, however- This guy was obviously a bad player when he joined. At one point I even wondered if he was intoxicated during his time with us.

Right off the bat delaying the party nearly 45minutes, wandering around aimlessly after he zoned in, and hitting astral flow as the first pull comes in are all pretty lame PT methods. He spent more time arguing with the rest of the party about what their jobs should be than he did taking care of his part of the exp session.

We didn't mind putting up with a poor performance from him, but when he shot his mouth off to people who actually had a clue, it was kind of frustrating. That on top of the unneccessary delay at pt start (I ended up having to leave prior to the d2 incident because of the wait) probably pushed the rest of the pt over the edge. I'm not surprised they all wanted you gone, but the way they went about it doesn't make them any less guilty than you in this case.

Like I said above, I'll talk to zylia about the way this went down and make sure its handled more appropriately in the future.

Wow, that is a great way to debate a point. I have only met Zylia on my old character, but never really interacted with them nor have an opinion of them. But to just not even bother reading the information in front of you due to personal bias is an uneducated flame at best. Even if someone I HATE posts something about anyhting really, I will read it as everyone has their point.

You sir are just ignorant and really suck at giving a good arguement. Explain how he sucks as Whm and is an ass as I've played with him on this game since he started playing and can contest to his skill and "humor." Not viewing a side of a story is just ignorance and a poor showing of your character.

I disagree. I have had to d2 people before, sometimes with warning, sometimes without. I can think of one time in particular, in CN, we were xping with a God awful blm. I can deal with over nuking, yeah, sometimes you try to finish off that mob, and get a resist, and are like “Bitch, no you didn’t”, but this guy nuked every other fight. Why? At that level, not like the beetles died super fast. He would use all his mp in one fight, and would draw hate. We asked him to tone it down, even renamed him Sirnukesalot or something like that. He was a hinderance, even died a couple times from drawing hate, and not stopping his nuke fest. You can warn people to chill, you can exchange harsh words…in the end, if you they can’t listen, then they should be happy that you at least give them a free ride back to thier Home Point. The whole, you should always tell people…”Oh hey, you suck, so we replaced you.” Why? Then they’d cry foul anyways. If you have been told you suck the whole time, it shouldn’t come as a surprise. In this case…the SMN even admitted, he was distracted…company, wife aggro, and head just not in it. D2 is being nice, still rude maybe, but rude is also not doing your job, there are much crueler people on the server, would have mpk’d you, or just kicked you and let you find your own way home.

So…in conclusion…if you’re a general dickhead, but the pt runs smoothly, I won’t D2, just not xp with you again. But you push things, you show you aren’t in the “mindset” to pt, and be a dickhead…I’ll be a gentleman, and send your ass home. If that makes me a bad guy, then by all means, never pt with me, and also never ask me for help. In this case, whomever that blm was in that pt, acted in the parties best interest.
