I'm offering a new low low rate everyone. Only 10k per provoke. C'mon, its not THAT much. Why, if the whole party pitched in...you could each only pay like 10-15k per fight.
 
If I'm ever a paladin, I think the party should give me 5k everytime the undead is initimdated by my presence. (PASSIVE TRAIT)

Same goes for beastmasters. Their very presence intimidates monsters with their passive traits so they should get rewarded for that too. hehe... man so silly charging for a passive trait.

Unfortunately there are people out there that WILL use his "services". How many times have you seen random /shouts for help getting keys or quest items. I also got /tells from people in need.

Those people must A> Have no in-game friends. B> No LS (or a really crappy one). or C> All of the above.

Anyways, I hijacked his thread... I should be raking in the gil in no time!
 
Man, if people are willing to pay for that, then maybe I can get away with charging for Refreshing and Hatse in PTs :lol:

Then maybe I can afford myself a Scorpion Harnass ;p
 
As long as someone is willing to pay for a (I use this term loosely) service,
then they will continue to charge. Should be up to the person in need when it comes to something like TH-2, if that person is willing to pay for its use, then by all means a THF should take it, but, should not expect it.

I have my own way of dealing with asshats in this game when it comes to stupidity such as Casino shouts, charging for Job Abilities etc. Just like I do in real life, I ignore it. If someone washes my windshield without asking me, then demands to get paid, I tell him to kiss my ass, but if I ask for his service, then by all means I'm willing to pay up.

And my friends wonder why I rarely appear in populated areas......................

Just a note...

I paid Neophytal (very good friend of mine), some MNK friend of Neo's (can't remember the name :( Nice to meet you though! :)), and Rollifingaz 20k a piece to come help me out with a coffer key for Eldeime Necropolis. Those 3 people were around 65-67 or so, RDM WAR and MNK. I paid them gil up front, we got my key, we were done.

Now, I know a fair good amount of you on the boards, and have many friends ingame. I offered gil to these people who might have done it for free, for the posibility of death (Tomb Mages, Warriors, and Spriggans can be quite a handful), and for their generous donation of their time. Both the MNK and Rollie were a pleasure to meet... I gave all 3 20k a piece as compenastion for their time and risk involved.

I don't see how hiring on mercenaries qualifies you as either any of this:

And as to be fair, I think BigFun is one of the sucessful LSes on the server... please don't use such general statements. And I'd rather not party up for these items and drops outside of a close circle of friends, because then you risk someone else getting the drop and leaving minutes later, and it just saves MY time when I'm the only one needing the item drop. :roll:

Well Rune, then i guess helping ppl outside of LS is outta the question then. Unlike me i helped my LS(3) and 3 other outside of LS get their Coffer keys in Toraimarai canal. Spent like 5hours inside there getting 6 coffer keys. Plus i never ask for gil on any help. A few ppl on server can verify that. I help when i feel like helping that's all. And i really hate what some LS tells me "SORRY LS MEMBERS ONLY" whenever i ask for help or when i ask to include me into their misisons/quests even if they're gonna do it 2 times, still same response.

Good for you, Teng. And I do help lots of people out of my LS... but in the middle of the week, where my playtime is limited, I'm out to accomplish certain goals I set in my game. I don't recall ever asking for a reward for helping someone, either. I happen to run my own LS, so it's not like I equip any others, because I'm too caught up trying to keep mine together.

Oh, and the only time anybody's ever been DENIED ACCESS because "SORRY LS MEMBERS ONLY" are when we do our Naked Races, which is a LS-based event.

You make it sound as if I am a secluded self-important busy-body when you have never even talked to me before. :P Don't take your grudges against people in your past or other snooty LSes out on me and BigFun. :P

I'm sorry Runekane but i didn't mention the LS i was referring to and you had to mention YOUR LS. I did ask a few LS if i can join them on runs and they said "SORRY LS MEMBERS ONLY" i didn't mention who's LS i was referring so i might have guessed one of the ppl i asked might be from BigFun am i right Runekane? It's FROM what you wrote.
 
AND further more (damn no edit button) i met 1 person from BigFun LS, a taru and he was very nice, talked about how the LS helped each other and so on so please stop grudges against me. What i quoted when you replied is exactly what ppl have told me when i wanted to join them like for genkai1 last time. Reply: sorry we already have too many ppl needing it so i won't take you, same reply as other ppl i ask. What i said in forums are real things that have happened NOT listening to other ppl.
AND Yes i don't get mad at ppl in here cause hey, it's a forum, but if you train bats and got me killed in like say garliage then i will get mad. LOL
