Ungrateful shits...

Now she says there were SEVERAL stuns missed and SEVERAL firagas let loose but thats also false. After the run we were even commenting on how 3 missed stuns on firaga out of 7 hktk fights was actually pretty good.

i dont know about anyone else, but ive been on about 20+ haku pops and only one or two missed stuns if even that, and only that much due to miscommunications with the stun order. I personally think 3 missed stuns on 7 pops is pretty crappy.

. Just to clarify, however, I meleed Million Eyes the BST's pet fought (if any were being fought at the time) instead of HKTK for the sake that it'd hit more often and Spirit Taker would hit for more damage.

Why was the BST having his pet attack an add? I've done a few of these runs, spent 90% of my time paralnaing and about 10% keeping adds away by despawning them. I'm not trying to criticize cause I probably know the BST(we are few and far between) but killing links instead of despawning them seems like a severe waste of effort and a serious risk with them possible Firaga 3's flying around

anyway, stay away from Haku fights unless your going with friends or people you trust, otherwise it seems to go south or turn messy. No need to get upset Ish, sometimes it's not worth the stress

Do you understand the idea of DIRECTIONAL aoe?

It's easy as hell to melee a Hecteyes without being in range of Hex Eye.. you just have to stand at its rear half (either to one side or behind it).

Anyway. Yeah. Go Ish. O_o

or they could just tank backwards if they are sharing tanking duty and never have to worry about it, if it's a properly done tanking job by a NIN paralyna shouldn't be needed much at all. More people need to fight mobs other than crabs and crawlers to understand more about how all the mobs special moves in this game work. Sadly there is a vast amount of ignorance in even "veteran" players in how alot of mob abilities work(I.E. throat slash, self-destruct, hecteye, bomb throw, etc.)

I assume you mean despawn the adds by charming and then leave? Can't do that with Toberries, once you get those to add, they cannot be left to despawn and would it matter? Killing them is more efficient since they should respawn about a min after they despawn instead of the 15 mins between repops when killed. Having to constantly despawn adds seems extremely tedious when you can just kill them and be done with it. And for the most part, the -ga spells they can cast are no real worry since they can and should be silenced whereas I believe you do not have that option with Haku.

Tagrineth was referring to the melees and not the tanks. The tanks need to actually hit to keep hate and the melee should know well enough to not stand in front of the mob unless they have no choice.

How about you tell everyone on QCDN who you really are.

I could tell you, but what good would that really do? Absolutely zilch, nada, nein. You wouldn't know me to begin with, so why should it matter? I am Other. Simple and to the point. Sorry that there is no "secret identity" behind this, such as someone on the Flameboards you all know and hate. Nope, I'm new...

The requirements to use this site require you to put your in-game name in your signature.

-If you don't want people to know who you are, don't post at all.
-If you want your voice to be heard, then we need to know who's voice it is.

Is this better?

Enlighten some of us then o' great one. Far as i know, all those abilities are pretty striaght forward.

Well, i know that i was there. I tanked the first 2 hats because Kile asked me to run down, i was the only tank they had. Everything seemed fine while i was there, No deaths, etc. Sucks that it went downhill after i left, but you really cant blame Ish for lack of stunning or screwing up. She wasn't even in my party while tanking Htku and managed to land Paralyna on me just as much as the whm that was in my pty.

actually, SE moved the tonberry pops, they are still a danger but not nearly as much as they used to be

also, if theres no weather at the time of the fight you can fight hktk to the right of the gate near the ledge, it will limit your aggro chances to 1 millioneyes and eles during weather, jsut a thought

all in all i say just let it go, ish did a great service by helping, 0 clusters were lost which is always a good thing, and we all got an advanced lesson in Spirit taker... which stacks with SA btw, so /thf is a neat option in skillup parties

To be fair, that's a suggestion ... not a requirement.
