That reminds me of another thing I wanna slug people for (Ok you summoners out there, this one's directed at you, and yes two of the leads of SW have macros like this, and I'm thinking about telling Slayerindian what I think, if he'll listen)

Summon macros in /say or summoner macros with POKEMON references. That's SO darn annoying, c'mon, put it in /echo for goodness gracious!
 
Sorry I have a bit more to gripe about but its sam

Sam and War, really just sam since I merit with them a hella lot more I have to ask when you Penta Thrust something like birds, I understand with really good gear and merits and whatnot it's pretty nice. I've even seen some sams like Sethidus destroy toucans left and right, but doesnt it take a lot of gear to put you at that point? It's almost as if using your fat BLARGGUN will yield a shitload more exp in the longrun than using your silly polearms. I'm not saying I'm not a believer but I've literally had this happen

A well geared sam was using pentathrust while we were meriting I thought nothing of it.

Sam "I have like 5/8 Polearm merits and I'm still missing hits" (i dont remember food i want to say sushi though)

Me "Could switch to GK then, I still havent capped mine yet lol"

Sam changes to BLARGGUN and the next mobs hp literally disappears, I'm going holy fuckiing dickapples this lasted for about 2-3 mobs then the sam switches back to polearm....I should have said something but

It baffles me(understatement) why sams do this, wars I cant complain too much about since I rarely merit with a war or they use gaxe

Something else for blu, more of advice than really a rant

If you have like sword merits from another job(like a lot of them) its cool to use those str pieces but stick with the accuracy first and work you way up to them, I still use a lot of accuracy personally; not trying to go holier than thou but the effects do more in the long run than just one or two spells
 
I can pick on him a bit Khidir because he's a RL friend of mine lol. The guy with the ridiculous number of relics is a JP name of Haha. One of the lucky (?) few who can play from work. Also probably the only PLD I've ever played with who I consider to be just plain better at the job than myself.

I almost want to come back to the game, hop on my 67 MNK and make a macro just like that :') Wonder how long it would take for me to get kicked from every party and linkshell I join haha.

Back in like, 2004 I used to go crazy seeing noobs fucking up SATA. That's about all that ever drove me crazy, anything related to SATA.

I was glad when Zalt did those macros as RNG because I was usually the PLD in the party. It meant that he was about to go crazy and I would need to cover him. lol

I did have some crazy macros like that on my SMN and WHM when I first started but quickly removed them.

I think everyone made silly macros for summoner when they first start it lol. It's almost a rite of passage or something, it's just if you keep them past level 30 you're a bit dumb haha.
 
I hate it when people are afraid to use their two hours..... especially white mages who are afraid Benediction will get them killed.

I've also had some summoners who will use the wrong Astral Flow.... especially during CoP missions
 
To be blunt, I had some silly stuff on cure macros when I was a newbie. Got rid of most of it, but one p line persisted for a while since I had the dumbest tanks ever. Tho that wasn't that silly..

Cure 4==><t> {please}{provoke}

I don't have a lot of p lines in my macros anymore unless it's absolutely necessary.(To name a whm example; I have a p line on Bene which is pretty darn witty, amusing one on ds+curaga that's a remmant of a static, and a no-nonsense one for prot/shell. Also have a statping.) And since some of the smns in SW have some lulus that they never got rid of, I went the opposite direction and /echo'ed my smn witty stuff. I just have them for a verify if it went off, but I don't think anyone needs to see "Predator Claws that, Garuda!!" 200 times besides me.
