God how I hate battle spam.
 
A "competent" party won't. A good party might. And if you're already killing everything there is to kill, faster than it can respawn, then worrying about secondary concerns (like what your COR is subbing) is irrelevant.

Put it like this, unless your party is full of AH dds or just full of awful players, your going to be clearing Mamool and waiting on respawns. Im specifically talking the north camp at mamool and Mamool camp at birds. North camp is far superior to the south one. TO clear the south camp you need a pretty decent party as there are more mobs in general.

I'm talking about going to Mamool Ja Staging Point and killing every single mob in the zone.

That's what I mean by clearing.

GARUDA I CHOOSE YOU!!! (Insert Pokeballs)
FENRIR USE ECLIPSE BITE ON [insert random mob]!!!11one
CAN'T TOUCH THIS {Aerial Armor}

one of the fastest ways to end up on my black list.
 
hahaha I love some of the SMN battle spam macros.

Some of them are just funny and they get deep into 'perfecting' them to try to be the 'uncommon' SMN

but if they end up on the blist, how will they be known? lol
 
You think that's bad, there's a WHM in my LS (who fortunately plays very sporadically and is mostly tolerated out of a sense of affectionate nostalgia) who has a /p macro for every. Single. Spell.

Even cures.

there was a WHM in my old dynamis shell that had a Raise macro:

I didn't particularly mind Raise macros in Dynamis, since that prevented people from spamming it on a particular, probably afk, individual. Less MP wasted = more MP for curing people and keeping them alive.
 
I dont believe you cleared the whole zone. That means you would have to be fighting multiple mobs at once. While that is possible respawns are 5 minutes in Toau (correct if wrong). Thats a tall order my friend, im not saying its not possible depending on the jobs, but id like to see it for myself.

yeah I didn't say I disliked it,

infact I thought it was kinda unique haha.

Although cure macros get annoying for me since I use windower and when they have the "Cure <t>" battle spam macro,

it gets annoying when it constantly says "Someone is talking about you"
every 5-10 seconds.

I usually put it on mute after 3 times.
 
Ive yet to experience the windower thing talking to me yet, What plug-in is that?
 
I fucking hate people with /p macros for cures/summons. It's so god damn annoying. No one gives a shit.

I agree, that gets on my nerves too. I do admit to /party spam with my Corsair Macros, but its mainly for me to remember what the lucky number is. i.e. "Attack Bonus Lucky #Whatever." One of these days, i'll get ambitious enough to put it in echo, but everyone loves a Corsair, no one complains about it, and I'm lazy. The Summoner macros with that text are useless.

Sorry, double post.
Now partyspam with raises, I do not mind.
In fact I have my spellcast telling the alliance and the person which rraise they are getting.

I have considered putting in the condition 'By accepting this raise you agree to relinquish your immortal soul to me.' but I didn't.

It can be done.

But you've gotta be really good.

Hence why I don't complain if my LS mates want me to come /WHM.

Of the DD's in that party, for the record, one has Mandau/Aegis/Yoichinoyumi/Bravura/Amanomurakumo/Burtgang, another has Ragnorok/Apocalypse/Amanomurakumo, and the other poor bastard just has Yoichinoyumi. Jobs were WAR/SAM, SAM/WAR, and SAM/RNG iirc, though it could have been SAM/WAR again. G-horn BRD, our poor beleaguered RDM, and me, using SAM roll, DRK roll, and double March, iirc. We did occasionally fight multiple mobs, but mostly we just killed stuff in a couple seconds.

All in all it's rather entertaining to see what a good SAM can do with Yoichi, a Soboro, and a hell of a lot of Store TP.

Yup that's what I mean. "Bonus points" for when they include /p stuff for every BP they use, and every time they cure.
