So you never really realize who are your true friends until after you leave 'em. I swear before anything I was just kinda there, but goddamn the moment I mention quitting everyone's my best friend in the world suddenly. HAY SVINA CAN I HAVE UR PCC LOLZ @#%!? GIMME SOME MONEY ROFLSAZ!?@$1

This isn't everyone I got to know from the game but seriously now, just forget about gettin free shit and keep farming your damned cock meat, cause I never knew who half the people who waved to me were.

Anyway fine... if you wanna feel important and rich so goddamned bad without doing any work for it go to the general forum and look for the other post i made since that wouldn't really fit in here.
 
yea, oso true, when you quit, and got lots of good gear... ppl want to be your friend for gear/gil... lame ^^
 
Friendship is so conditional. When they need or want something from you, they are your best friend. :lol: Every person that asks for a raise is your best friend for a couple mins at least. 8)
 
I had very little contact with Svina I will admit.. But in the encounters I had with Mephs, I generally liked the guy. Wasnt until after you had quit I found out Mephs was you... Sorry you feel this way...i will edit my post in the General Discussion forum..

One reason I didn't announce when I quit...I just sent /tells minutes before deleting everything and gave out what I could.

yea, sadly enough thats the only way to go out , I got a message and 1.2mil gil from a friend who quit. I wish I coulda talked to him a few more times before he quit , but In the end his mind was set and I don't blame him for not wanting to go through all this and that.

I dont always blame people that do this. You play with a person for so long and get along with them real fine. When someone quits its usually common knowledge that the person gives away the stuff to friends. When that happens its a wierd feeling that happens to people. On one side it just does not feel right to be asking but if you could get an item that you have been working for or could really use, some people lose their sense and feel like asking. I have also been semi guilty of this and it shames me, after reading other people's oppinions I feel that the person who's quitting has probably already decided what they are going to give away and to who.
 
Well not everyone reads every single post on this board to see every single post that goes up lol. Only reason I know is because someone in my LS was looking at the IRL pics and noticed it said Svina/Mephs. Forgive my ignorance... Apparently its wrong to not know something that was so obvious? I had heard that Mephs was someones mule that they decided to level. When I ran into Mephs, I asked if he was a mule that someone decided to level and I go the answer "No". I dropped it...

i mean i wasnt acting like i talked to you every time i logged on or anything like it. i've done a few events with you, talked to you some times, and was sad to see such a high respected person to go (not kissing ass -.- ). and when i saw that you were offering free stuff to give away, i thought i would try for an item my best IRL friend needed so i could give it to him for his B-day (not the PCC).

but it is sad to see how people do jump on others when they even think of quiting for their items. i mean, theres been that attitude for things for ever since i remember as a kid. in cartoons where some1 was gonna die, "can i have ur stereo" and such... but now im rambling...so ill shut up >.>;
 
I don't feel like a dick for posting in the other topic. If something is offered, it's there for you to accept it. I think this post is more about his friends just immediately asking for stuff when he said he was leaving. But along those lines, if you were so upset about people straight up asking, why go and offer it to others later? I think the whole thing will blow over when Svina realizes that his friends were just "uber"-struck for a few minutes at the thoughts of good items going to waste. Friends will always be friends, "uber" items or not. :)
