I don't know about that. I think that some people are alot more honest when they're pissed off. They say things they would normally censor themselves from. You're right in saying that it doesn't reflect their normal attitude, but I think it reflects their true attitude.
People always have a filter between their brain and their mouth. People don't always say what they really think, i.e.: "That new outfit looks terrible." "Her ass is HUGE." "His dick is tiny!". However, when you're angry, you're less likely to use this filter because you simply don't care if you're going to offend the person or not.
Your lack of a sense of humor fucking astounds me sometimes.
I think this is well said. Written or whatever..
It's not however the case.. and it wouldn't be the case with all situations.
I continue to discuss this with my bf as everyone contributes their thoughts and feelings on this matter. He's impressed with most of the comments btw, but still thinks you're all a bunch of interwebzornerds lol! I kid.
What happened that day was in pure retaliation and utter shock at that c**ts nerve to racially insult 'him' and refuse all accountability of what occurred. She asked for it, and like I said earlier had I been there she would have been picking her teeth up from the floor of her car.
I don't think I've said this yet but I would have just as easily said the same things to her. Again I'm quicker to get physical but considering the location etc.. she would have heard the exact same insult come from my mouth.
By her opening her mouth she welcomed all equally degrading and disgusting choice words.
Racism is a deep seeded hate in someone. Bigotry is a lil harder to see in someone if not engaged in conversations that cover a related topic or touches on a race disliked.
I know a couple older men in my family still have a bit of bigotry in them, but they've always maintained a civil and discretionary 'front' when dealing with people not of their favored race.. it still bugs me knowing that however, but they're old school.
All in all, he may not have been PC or 'right' in his choice retaliation, but he's human.. he's got emotions like every other human and is perfectly entitled to anger when threatened in such a way.
I just hope there were no kids around to witness that.
