You're a clueless window watcher who doesn't know the whole story, Fire. He didn't get on my nerves until after I got the Osode, cause really, he wasn't there until just before it happened. The schedule conflict happened after I got it too. Most of the members when I joined has theirs as well. We had a really good drop rate on Osode. If I wanted to leave after I had gotten everything, wouldn't it make sense that I stick around for the Pole, which I was either 2nd or 3rd for in Queue when I stopped going, and D. Body? Again, you know nothing of it other than the fact that I stopped going, get your nose out of the business.
I believe I earned it, yes. When there were overtime camps, and unscheduled days, I went. They stopped happening though. I clocked most of my play time while I was an active part of Valkyrs in sky, and some of the nonsky time helping members with their quests, so don't patronize me on that part. Everyone wanted to stop earlier, and start earlier. My schedule was already having me show up late to begin with, moving the camps earlier was really problematic.
No one really had an issue with me not showing up either. No one sent me a tell with "Why'd you stop?" The only time I ever got a tell was during a one week break I took to get some EXP back, cause like I said, most of my play time was clocked helping Valkyrs out, Villarel wanted to know if I was done exping or not. And the occasional tell from Ryme saying everyone missed me there after I stopped showing up.
I'm not a part of another sky shell, countercamping Valkyrs. I wouldn't do that, cause that would be fucked up. They're free to ask me to help them if they've run into overtime camping and they're still there when I get off work, I have no problems with that.
They knew why I left, and didn't have a problem with it, so whats your deal? Seriously, quit the PMSing, it doesn't concern you in the slightest.
Do you want an overcrowded sky? Are you even still doing sky yourself? Theres nothing wrong with telling people the obvious, sky will get too crowded if new shells keep springing up. I didn't say they can't go, or that only the original shells and their members belong there. Hell, if you join one of the older shells, chances are you'll get your stuff faster. More problems like this will start, especially with mobs that have severe spawn conditions, like Ulli, and Steam Cleaner. Things will boil worse if more shells keep getting pumped out.
And calling me selfish just makes me giggle, I have so many items loaned out to people, they didn't even expect I would. Like Kat's currently borring my Enkalydos Bracelets, and Aerdrie is borrowing an Astral Earring.
The value of an Osode is different from that of a D Body and Pole for a great many reasons. People spend months in sky to get their Osode. People get their D body off their first or second kirin cause nobody else wants it that doesn't already have it. You can buy a Pole in a bazaar for a few mill. Having an osode in a way flags you from the longest wait for anything you might need out of sky, therefore yes once you get it you will be more likely to leave your LS for stupid shit because you could join any LS and quickly get any of the other stuff you might want in the future.
And you believe you earned it... well.. let me tell you something. I've been going to sky with my LS since april, and I've been extremely active and never skip for anything but real life. I don't boast to anyone I earned my Osode. You know who earned my Osode? My LINKSHELL earned my osode. Until every one of my linkshell members has everything they want out of sky, I didn't earn my Osode. Period. End of story. Just because I was given it, doesn't mean I am right to just walk away with it.
It doesn't matter if you're a generous person. I don't care that you loan you gear out. In 3 months, you didn't earn all your sky gear. Because in 3 months, it's not possible to get a LS completely done with sky from the start to finish. By saying you earned it, you're saying you owe Valkyrs NOTHING. By keeping it, that's what you're telling me. But I'm so sorry you had to suffer the terrible pain of listening to suggestions, perhaps by some scrub who don't even deserve to be in sky like you?
It doesn't matter if you're generous, it doesn't matter if you only can't go to sky because you got a job or you had a kid or you got sick of FF. The point I was trying to make is this. Let's just look at this like a numbers game, which is really all that FF is.
Let's say 2 full sets on average gets a guy all his sky gear. So for everyone involved in farming your sky set, let's say 24 people. Did you farm 48 sky sets? For everyone involved in killing your regular gods.. let's say 28 people... did you kill 56 genbus, byakkos seiryus and suzakas? You killed 60 kirins?
If you didn't... let me tell ya something. You didn't earn JAC*********KK SHITTTTTTTTTTTTTTT. Cause that's what it takes, mathematically to say you put in what you took out. And that's assuming that monk is as valuable as the jobs, which it isn't. And if you're saying you did all that in 3 months, I'm gonna say "ha." I'm sure you don't owe anyone in Valk anything, you earned it all. *rolls eyes*
But forget all the talk about how generous you are Skaw. I'm sure you're a regular saint. The point I was trying to make is this. Let's say you took all the people like Skaw, who are 'good intentioned' but simply can't put the hours in they need and don't possess the loyalty required. Then you take all those people like Miisha who just wanna smash, grab and run for it. You take those people out of sky. They never get their sky armor. Then people like me who stay loyal to the LS that gave me gear, and you put all us in the same linkshell and we farm sky.
Guess what? Sky is not a revolving door. We do sky. We all get our gear. We leave sky. New generation comes in, gets their gear, leaves sky. Not so damn crowded.
So forgetting the assertion of greed versus Skaw couldn't come to sky because 1 single person he doens't get along with means it's the right thing to stop coming. Forgetting the morality of the situation implicated. The fact that your sky LS still farms sky and you're not with them = you are part of the problem, if you are to blame for it or not. And then you tell the new guys, they shouldn't even come up, it's all yours.
This is a damn stupid way to think.
