Support VB 4.0 starting presales

Lemme bring it up with the big man. Don't see why we wouldn't be!
 
Man, its a shit storm over there. I don't know what they are thinking but they are fucking just about everything up it seems.

In any case, we will update to vb4 at some point. Our licenses is covered for the forum. I'm just wondering about the CMS and if that would be useful.
 
Been playing around with the beta a little, its been buggy and still has a bit to go.
 
Just as an update in case people were wondering, vB 4.0 is having quite a few bugs in styles and functions so we won't be bringing the main boards up to 4.0 for a little bit. Once the styles and functions seem bug free, we'll be bringing them to the test site so we can start on the styles so that when the change happens we won't see much wrong.

Pretty good actually. I did some very conservative investing after the mortgage crisis happened and it was a very good thing. I certainly haven't made as much as I did pre-crisis however after looking at what I dumped I was very happy with the results.
 
I should hire miros to manage my currently non-existent investments :)

vb 4.0.1 is up. ie6 compatability is the pits but I don't think we have many users on that here.

We are going to test out the style stuff while we wait for some modifications to get updated. Major kudos to Miros for volunteering his time for the style stuff.
 
IE compatibility might be a problem for people who browse from work.
Then again, maybe they'll get some work done.
 
I'm one of those people stuck on ie6 at work... I can use firefox for external sites but not having tabbed browsing on internal sites where I need it most sux ass
 
vB 4.0 is a whole new re-vamp, which is a good thing, but it's going to take me WAY longer then I had hoped to get the styles updated. If we go to 4.0, we'll have the default style up for a while and as I finish other styles I'll put them up. It's fun learning the new system, but between the work of my last semester and normal work, it's not going too quickly.
 
I vote we switch to it and just announce when you finish stuff up. Or just do Nightshift first, then we switch, then you do the rest! :D
 
Chances are we will be going to 4.0.1 either today or later this weekend. If not, we'll likely be upgrading to 4.0.2 when it's out.

A lot of the features will be wtfbroken and I'll do my best to get them updated and whatnot.
