I don't think the Vizio is the problem as I connected the Wii to my 42" LCD LG and I was still have the same problem.

Might be a probelm with your Wii then, does the problem only occur when you're running those VC games?
I haven't noticed any problems running component cables on my DLP.

It only happens with Secret of Mana and Super Mario RPG, I play Super Metroid, Super Mario Cart 64 and all my other Wii games just fine on the Vizio and LG with component cables.

More Strong Bad for the fans this week, plus the less glitzy original Space Invaders. The idea of a bean bag toss game makes me laugh because I nearly shit myself giggling when people refer to it as "cornhole."
My sister called me the other day and said she managed to snag a Wii for her kids' Christmas gift, which means I'll end up buying some Virtual Console games for them at some point. They love stuff like Donkey Kong Country and Sonic the Hedgehog. I've gotta praise Nintendo for adding the gifting option to the Virtual Console.

The game features Normal mode, which can be played using one of two rules: Abnormal mode (players split into two teams and compete against each other) and Ranking mode (compete with players around the world for the top record). Each mode can be played with a maximum of four Wii Remote controllers, allowing you to team up with friends and family. Your teamwork could lead to outstanding records.

Released in 1998 by SNK, METAL SLUG 2 is a side-scrolling military-action game. Just like the original METAL SLUG, players blaze a trail by shooting and jumping, but METAL SLUG 2 adds a new arsenal for you to command, including a heavy machine gun, a shotgun and even a laser gun, providing players with rich variety. Battle effects are packed in, as well-players turn into mummies after getting caught in poison gas coughed up by mummies. After picking up too many food items, characters turn fat, but they get an attack-strength upgrade. Two-player action is supported, too, so players can have a blast with their friends.

Nice, Phantasy Star IV, I was gonna pick up the Genesis Collection for PS2 or PSP but with the upcoming Sega Mega Drive Collection for 360/PS3 which has the Phantasy Star's along with Shining Force 1/2 among others (40 total, maybe some unlockables) with updated HD graphics and multiplayer support for $29.95 I'll be picking that up.

I thought it might be interesting to share with you guys - Super Smash Bros on N64 is coming to Virtual Console soon in Japan. Looks like release date is January 1st, price will be 1,200 points.

I saw the write-up over at NintendoWiiFanboy and was immediately thrilled. I hope that game comes here. My sister got her kids a Wii for Christmas, and I've already bought Mario Kart 64 for them, so the N64 Smash Bros. game would be another must-buy. I'd like to try it for myself, of course.
