Not that it really matters or is any particular concern of yours, but the first month or so we basically lowmanned everything so we couldn't do dual run farming. We did two omegas that we won easily but they took a while because the gunpods were stingy. Then we farmed an ultima popset from scratch. However, when we went to enter ultima, our tank couldn't get into the fight (didn't get the hum for whatever reason). Called a GM but they couldn't do anything, so it ended up wasting the larger part of a month for nothing other than some AF+1. After that we starting dual farming to make up for lost time, and this week we're popping both of them. First one finally gave us some nice gunpods so we have half of a popset for the next Omega, though we're farming up two concurrent Ultima popsets next before we use that (and we're bringing an extra tank along to those fights just in case, lol).

But again, this isn't really relevant to anything. You talk about Fail's "success" like you single-handedly brought it about or something. Sounds like you had plenty of people so I'm sure they would've been fine without you. I honestly don't care what linkshells that I'm not a member of are doing. Aside from our one minor hiccup, we're doing just fine and that's all I really care about. Oh, and by the way I never actually attacked your literary skills, I just defended everyone else's choice to do so. You might wanna work on that reading comprehension of yours.

Also instead of attacking everyone who disagrees with you, you might want to seriously stop and think about just how many members of our server actually read these forums. Do you really want all of them to think of you as a petulant child like so many other "I know you are but what am I!" type posters? If you do then okay, but I can promise you that this topic is going to be discussed by a lot of people on our server. As of now, most of these people are going to have a pretty bad opinion about you. You say it doesn't matter now, but once you start getting the boot from random xp parties or other things, you'll have no one to blame but yourself.

honestly, it'd be doing me a favor. ive had enough issues leveling corsair as of late that i'd rather not deal with trivial bullshit from an xp party or any other group for that matter. let me tank u and whoever else has a negative opinion about me in advance for not wasting my time.

for the record, im not taking sole credit for FAIL. however, if it wasnt for the core group of players (myself included) we would not have been as successful as we were. so in that aspect, u are wrong. ask dejavu. were it not for the many times myself and rece had to duo/trio kings path, FAIL would not have gone to omega the amount of times we did in such a short period of time.

i realize that im only fueling the fire when i respond to attacks against me, when i should just ignore them. but thats not my way. instead of offering a constructive criticism, some of you have chosen to jump down my throat because u feel my style of writing isnt up to par. i might be your entitled opinion, but it seems to me that countless others have had no issue reading the OP. maybe u just need to chill the fuck out? idk.

Hmm.. I don't know about all of that assault static, or ENM, or salvage stuff, but the only problems I saw with Wak was in FAIL. I know you and him had a few arguements the last day we ran over stupid stuff.

The only self-centered attitude I saw from Wak was continuously asking for help with getting some Great Sword for his DRK. He got really upset because I was busy or didn't have the seals. I can't quite remember, but other than that I really had no problem with him. It was just little things while in FAIL, that I heard about him that made him sound like an elitest jerk. (Not calling you one, it's just the way they made it sound Wak.)

I have duo'd Chigre twice with Tavjon. And yes I offered to attempt it for you. But you never set a time for the request. So either my memory is absolutely horrid. Or yours is. I'm not here to point fingers. And I'm not paying $15/month to make enemies.

1) Read what other people post very carefully before you reply. You once again said that I talked about your grammar. For the nth time, I've literally said nothing about it. If you want to talk in shorthand net-speak, I don't really care.

2) Watch out for karma. You felt the need to try to bring up my leadership into question, and now it comes out that you wiped to Chigre, an incredibly easy tier 1 znm. If you act like an ass, it comes back to bite you in yours.

3) Don't take QCDN's influence lightly. You joke about it now and say you don't care and it'd be doing you a favor, but down the line your mind might change pretty quickly. Though in your case you might luck out since your QCDN name and character name are different.

4) Have fun. FFXI's a game and you're flipping the hell out over one player and going batshit crazy that everyone isn't agreeing with you. You ask me to "chill the fuck out"? Might wanna follow your own advice.

1. the first to items were a direct reply to u, however the third was meant as a blanket statement. i guess i should have been more clear.

2. my karma is fine. we wiped to chigre because we were unprepared. was defeated easily the following attempt.

3. huh? qcdn and ffxi names are one and the same dude. from my end, im sure i'll be just fine. its only a few of u that seem to have gotten your panties in a twist over this.

having an obsession or striving for perfection isn't really a bad thing. i strive for perfection in my work, in my studies, and yes, even in my grammar and spelling - barring the occasional typing in all lower-case lettering.

i still stand by my observation that it doesn't do you a bit of good to initiate a guns-blazing campaign against anyone who might correct your spelling. preemption on such a petty matter makes you look the fool.

i'm sorry, but this is *also* horseshit of the purest kind. i consider myself a fairly reasonable man, and i've seen assholes come and go on this board and other areas of QCDN that'd make a thinner-skinned person shit his pants. never once have i been afraid to post my thoughts in the flameboard or any other forum of QCDN, and i actually enjoy being able to go toe-to-toe with the less-reasonable persons (from time to time) as it keeps my wit sharpened.

i beg to differ tristam. focusing on something so trivial, to the point that a topic almost gets derailed, in my opinion is childish and stupid. its like sarcasm, being the lowest form of comedy. u dont have anything original to add, so u (again not u but the royal u) resort to making half-witted comments and latch on to that one idea as if your life depended on it. i respect your opinion trist, as your reputation speaks volumes. but i dont think its foolish that i point out someones obsession with the spelling of a word and defend myself for trying to do so, all the while trying to remain on topic.
