I've had a really great week when it comes to FFXI and i just wanted to thank a few ppl/ LSs.
First off last sunday I was invited to help kill Kirin by a friend, totally out of the blue, and ended up winning the Kirin's Osode that dropped after losing the w.legs on the /random. I know alot of the members in this shell are Japanese so probably don't check this site, but if you do; thankyou to everyone in PeacefulStroll it was a fun morning. I know this isn't much of an achievement for some ppl but i enjoyed it alot.
Later that same day Strawberryshortcake finally won access to Odin's Chamber in einherjar, which is something that we've been trying for since late last year, it was a brilliant feeling just to get this far, i never really expected we would beat Odin on our first try but we did when we entered on thursday, see more details http://www.qcdn.org/ffxi/showthread.php?t=60115. I won the M.body that dropped, and just got it uncursed so i'm now the proud owner of a Koenig Cuirass. I want to say both congratulations again to Strawberryshortcake as well as thankyou.
After einherjar on thursday i went upto sky with Browncoats and we killed a couple of the mini gods. Sky is *nearly* always good fun with this shell, i often find myself getting strange looks when i burst out laughing at the computer screen irl while i'm in sky. There was a bonus this thursday when Seiryu dropped an M.head that i was next in line for, this makes us 2/2 on M.head in our last couple of Seiryu kills so i really wasn't expecting it so soon. Thankyou to Browncoats for being such a great shell to spend time in and thanks for my shiny new head
.
I think that's it, i just found alot of good things happening to me this week all at once and wanted to let people know how much i appreciate the items i've got and the fun i've had getting them.
Oh, it was also my birthday on Wednesday so this all tied together very nicely for me^^.
