WAR Maat Fight

I just got my test the other day (but still have to cap GA ;( ) and wanted to know if anyone had any tips on how I can beat that old man down! Any tips would be appreciated.

If you can remember to push all the buttons, this is probably the easiest Maat fight in the game.

You need:

12x Sleeping Potions
1x Icarus Wing
Opo-opo Necklace
Blink Band
Capped GA skill

I manually did my Icarus Wing from the menu, the macro was just too unreliable for me. Your choice there.

Enter, equip necklace, sleep to 300%. You won't need the opo necklace again so equip your DD piece. Don and use the Blink Band, same thing you won't need it again so put on your DD piece.

Walk up to Maat. He won't move until you hit him (or are at least in melee range) so you can get fairly close without worry.
  1. Engage.
  2. Pop bergressor + Warcry.
  3. Pop Mighty Strikes.
  4. Raging Rush.
  5. Icarus Wing.
  6. Raging Rush - this should close a Fragmentation chain.
  7. Melee until he's dead.
When I did this, he swung at me twice before giving up. Both hits were absorbed by my Blink. First RR should do ~1500+, second should do ~900+, Fragmentation should do at least 400. Another crit or two should be more than enough to finish it.
 
If your Gaxe isn't capped anything past 200 should do, I beat maat with a Gaxe skill of 206, first RR did 1300 and second did 700, fragmentation did around 300, it was still enough to beat him down.
 
If you want to go the other route you can use an Axe and beat maat down. what i did was sleep to 100tp. your going to open the fight with just a plain rampge DO NOT ZERK AT THIS TIME. once you do that rampage your going to fight him till you have 100tp now at this time zerk gressor warcry and mighty strikes rampage ic wing rampage and he should be dead.
