Just felt like sharing this with anyone that hadn't discovered this yet, but its possible to refresh your NPC Fellows now. I was just doing some farming and went to go refresh myself, not paying attention to my target. I then looked at the top of my screen to see my status icons, and noticed the refresh wasn't up and thought "eh?" so I read through the chat log quick only to see that my NPC had been refreshed (had her targeted instead)

Thought it was pretty neat and figured i'd share if it hadn't been yet. :biggrin:
 
I wonder if this means we can use other party only spells on our NPCs too now.
 
Nice, I gotta start xping my NPC again and try this out, it's been a while.
 
I just realized today I can use Magic Fruit on my NPC. yay!

Lol for sure, this is probably the first update that has completely failed to anger me in any aspect.. That's BULLSHIT! Fuck SE for making this game fun.
 
anyone wanna do like a NPC leveling party in like in like a 70+ exp camp? like bibiki bay or something?

My NPC is bout halfway to 66 atm


am i the only one that lost to my NPC in the the npc lvl70 limit break quest? because atm i feel ashamed...... but i did kick her ass the 2nd time i tried
 
My RL friend lost as rdm/whm, It stood no chance against me pld/dnc though. Yeah I can imagine its tough depending on what job combo you are.. And I'm down to lv my npc as a group too.
 
I lost as NIN/DNC vs NIN/PLD ; ;. Got hit with a 600dmg+ blessed raidance and she hadnt even used mijin yet. And lost once as SMN/SCH got hit with 2 blessed raidance <_<. Then won on SMN/SCH after next try.

And i'll do a NPC lvling PT :P. Mine is lvl67 atm, ive just been exping at the boyanda tree as BST but anything is fine.
 
Wow thats something else new they did lol I just started playing ffxi last monday. I havnt play this game since the summer of 06 , theres a lot a changes o.o (including prices..)
