Though do bear in mind (more on a tangential topic than on this particular issue), that a lot of people may see something and disagree with it and probably talk to their friends/LS about it, but not actually say anything to the person in question.

(I know I do, all the time - see someone playing poorly but not *quite* so badly as to actually want to rock the boat and - especially if they're a princess job - risk their leaving the party. So instead I just talk about them on LS or vent and make a mental note not to party with the person again.)

This is probably not itself a good thing, but it does kinda invalidate most "nobody/only-one-person said anything" arguments. Because it's quite possible to make a bad impression on people without their giving any evidence to *you* that you did.

I think, if you have a problem with the way someone is geared, kick em and problem solved. Your not FORCED to keep them in the party.

What bothers me and not directed to anyone in particular is people, PUT YOU IN THAT POSITION, where your almost scolding them to not do stupid shit (ie skill up your club in an exp). I don't want to be anyone's mother but I don't want my exp ruined and time wasted either by someone who thinks if they whip out there club for a few skill ups no one will bother saying anything and proceed to gimp us all.

At least have some courtesy and ASK the party if its ok. If all 5 say yes go for it but to just do it is annoying.

What's not true? That a melee with a Ridill who can't do a skillchain is better then a gimp geared player who can? I don't think so. And in your example its very possible a good mage can be a shitty melee and vice-versa. Doesn't mean I want to exp with him cause he can refresh like no one's business. If his task is to melee on a different job, so he's asked to SATA and he can't even line up properly all the Osodes and Ridills in the game aren't gonna help him. I'd rather take the gimp who can execute the task properly so I can receive Skillchain dmg, my black mage can MB and I get my exp faster.

If you do a search it wont take more then a couple topics before you come to the realization that tom doesn't read the boards so much as sit and drool at the monitor until he sees a topic and responds at random based on the two or three sentences he caught with small words in them. every blu/nin ive pt with and parsed have always remained very low on the DMG % but only blu ive parsed over 25% and was on top DD was /thf so idk why there is this talk of off hand cause from the pts ive been in blu/nin is just retarded.

More blu's need to know this, only when a blu hits 70+ should they begin to sub nin, because then you have spells like hysteric barrage, frenetic rip, and disseverment. You no longer need SA to put out huge numbers.

Most blu's go ooo ooo i get to hold TWO SWORDS AT ONCE, LOOK AT ME. No...any blu I invite pre-70 i make sub thf, or no invite.

And also about the whole seveneyes thing, the ONLY place I see it might be handy would be HNM, nothing else. And yes I do believe the + elemental magic boosts blu magic as well. Dont bother skilling your club up, it sucks compared to most swords you can use. The higher the skill lvl of the weapon, the more acc your physical magic has. Meaning you can get the most acc from mainhanding sword. Although I know you talking about off-handing club, but alot of people dont know that, so I said it anyway.

Yea this would be a point 2 years ago but after cannon pts became popular this isnt the case, most ppl dont know how to SC dont know how to MB and its sad, let alone have a SC chart or a knowledge of common SC you should use on certain mob types.
2 years ago pts wouldnt xp without a blm now they wont pt with a blm. Granted a mnk with knowledge of SC and MBs would be nicer but that only goes so far in todays pts. IGEnoobmnk > poorsmartmnk in cannon pts im sorry but its true.

Drks svina mentioned do have that xtra spell list they can use to stun absorb ect and they help. But after i doubled a drk with a ebody the other day on the parser ive changed my mind about xping it, no one really cares about huge spike DMG anymore, thats why I dont merit on rng anymore cause my nins kills it. 2 years ago when the fight consisted of huge SC and MB to kill the mob drks and blms were treated with more respect when they could pull off there SC and MB every fight, but now blms and drks are just to slow to compete with war mnk nin in modern pts.

That parse was in a merit pt not in pre70 pt lvl 75 blu/nin's never come close to other DDs in the pt but ive had a blu/thf come out on top against good DDs.

I could never go /thf in a merit pt, i would be dead after one spell. The three spells I listed should/will hit for 500+ each. I dont see how a SA > cannonball for 1k makes /thf better. And with hate flying all over the place in merits, SA is hard to land successfully. And if your talking the mire, /thf is way out of the question, because if it uses silence, you cant cast cannonball, and if it uses amnesia, you cant use chain affinity.

I'd like to parse against a /thf, I highly doubt he could win. The /nin also gives dual wield 2, and with refueling (haste) you can swing pretty fast. So while your sitting there you can be swinging, rather than waiting for your hate to die down to cast another spell.

IDK im just saying what my parser says, im not gonna argue with a machine. theres oviously more to Blu than doin cannonball cause i dont remember the blu even doin that move, i just remember him waiting till half life then killing the mob, usually with death scissors and something else forgot the name of the move but they were doin more of 1500 on the colibri.

plus i was the nin so my whole pt was eatting food but me and feeling confident and not getting killed. Colibri suck on nin for the dmg issue but i guess I have to fall back and just keep hate instead of worrying about tryin to be #1 in the pt in dmg, if the DDs feel safe eatting food I guess im doin a good job.
