First off, I asked him nicely to not spam check me. I said looking is fine, I really don't mind, but when you spam it its annoying. I had a long day at school, all I wanted to do was camp that stupid lizard for a little while and maybe go 1/10 so I could sell off my winged boots. Its funny how you say I was spamming ws when I didnt ws once I was just burning up what was left of my demon arrows, 1 shot 1 kill.
I was killing the East and West Ph's, not all the lizards. And when your buddy "Tufnek" wouldn't stop spam checking me after I asked nicely to stop, I snapped at him and said "Or I could start killing everything and make us stay here for hours." Which I'm pretty sure is an empty threat, but whatever.
That ended that or so I thought. But no, 2 on 1 wasn't enough. I assume that Twille = Thatoneguy who if I'm correct is who you were playing as, because there wasn't a twille in zone. So now you bring out your other buddy, and he starts /following me spam checking me, and generally harassing me in say. Telling me how much I suck and how you 3 will beat me to every pop (3 on 1 fucking hope so) and then in /sh and that gay ass /emote dancing.
I had enough, I didn't retaliate verbally and asked him to stop. He didn't so I called a GM.
I never said one word to you and I even complimented you saying "That you seemed pretty competent, and didn't need extra help." He starts calling me "selfish" cause I'm "stealing from a deserving low lvl" when I had been beat to almost every single PH pop.
I hope your buddy has fun in GM jail. I'm glad a GM finally did something right.
Overall you're coming across as the more sensible party in this except for one point:
My brother walks up to this 75 guy (Yurian) and /check's him to admire his gear. Yurian, being a typical 75 jack-ass, switches his gear. Well, my brother still wants to see what he's wearing, so he /check's again. The guy freaks, switches gear over and over and then starts bitchin' in /say. Says "knock it off or i'll kill everything and make you stay out here for hours."
Not the threat itself (which yes, as you pointed out, is rather apparently empty), but after being checked reputedly twice (which is totally understandable after having gear swapped, if the person wanted to see your gear and wasn't just curious about your title or something), you flipped out a la Raizondetre. Checked *twice.* Not at all unreasonable.
Reacting to that then, of course, incites having it happen more, and you're not entirely justified in complaining about something you incited. Let's face it, when you see *anyone* getting pissy about being checked period (when they could just filter it out: it's not like there's ever any practical need to know if you're being checked, so if you leave it unfiltered, it means you enjoy seeing those messages), let alone checked again after they gear swapped and thereby *caused* the second check that they're complaining about...
Well, most people's first impression after that response, is that the person is a dumbass who a. overreacts to something they have no need to see in the first place if it bugs them, and b. doesn't understand cause and effect in regards to why they got checked more than once, and a lot of people will then decide to mess with them *because* of that.
Unless, of course, it didn't actually go down like the OP claimed it did (check out of curiosity -> gear swap for whatever purpose like TP/WS/whatever -> check again because not done looking before the gear swap), in which case a more detailed version of events in order.
That's not to say that they were blameless either, they overreacted plenty themselves and acted like little dipshits rather than just shrugging and moving on. But my point is that *you* aren't coming across as an innocent unfairly check/emote-abused little angel here either. I tend not to have much sympathy for people suffering the consequences of their own actions.
