Ok I got a wii today and I was trying to set it up with a wireless connection to my router that is using a standard wep key. I put in my password after it finds my router but it can't connect. Anyone have any ideas why this would be? I have 2 desktops and a laptop that run fine and my signal strenghth is in the green so I don't see why it won't work any ideas?

Does your router see the Wii connecting to it? Are you *sure* you put in the right WEP key?
Does it connect to router, but not to the internet? Does it connect to the router at all?

no my router doesn't see the wii trying to connect to it. i even got rid of all the security and updated my router set it the mixed mode and still am getting the 15330 error

Are you using mac address filtering?

And are you connecting via the native wii wifi or via the usb port? I heard people have problems via usb

Make sure you select the correct protection. I know I had the WPA2-PSK setup on my router and my Wii would not connect using the WPA-PSK using the same key. It makes a difference.

i got it. i changed the channel broadcast to 11 since 6 and 1 didnt work well for the whole system. thanks for your help guys and ill post my id code tomorrow sometime

Quite a few people seem to have problems connection Wii to the network. I'm forced to order an adapter to wire it to a router. Its realy stuped that thay don't add a Cat5 connection to wire it to router.

If I try enoph, I can connect to network and get a game downloaded, then it stops working. Unknown why.
