No.
3 out of the 4 sagas in GT are crap.

Super 17 is a decent watch. It's short(7 episodes) and pretty full of action.

I disagree. GT was just a forced series and it's overall quality was crap. I still found Super 17 crap. The series just left a real bad impression on me.

On topic though, I'm almost done with Higurashi kai. Holy shit this is gripping!

Recently finished Chobits, Itsudatte My Santa! and Elfen Lied (wow, how violent was that? lol)

Currently watching Kiddy Grade

Unwatched, To Watch:-
My-Otome
My-Otome Zwei
MoonPhase
Ouran High School Host Club
Gurren Lagann
Tokyo Mew Mew (downloaded)
Strawberry Panic (downloaded)

Lol, if you thought Elfen Lied was violent you should watch Gantz. Probably some other good ones out there too but Gantz always comes to my mind.

Finally bought some anime. I probably shouldn't have, but I did anyway.

Got Love Hina and Madlax. I hope they're both good, they were decent deals too.

Let me know how Madlax is if you get around to watchin' it soon. I am considerin' watchin' it when I finish another series.

hehehe that pic of chin chan in ur avatar Strid rules hehehe good anime but badddddd idea to let kids watch it :) and love hina is soooo funny havent seen madlax actually havent hear of it what kind is it shojo?

Love Hina was a blast, and i'd rate it as being similar in ways to Ah! My Goddess (which I know you've seen) but without the magic. I havn't seen Madlax myself, but your opinion might help me decide whether or not I should get it someday

I have recently finished Kiddy Grade last night, which is a good anime for the most part but in the end seemed rough around the edges. There was a lot of things that just happened without going into any real depth to explain them which left me scratching my head at times. I'd give it a 7-8/10 I guess.

Currently watching Strawberry Panic downloaded (currently on ep 8/24), but have since pre-ordered the box set for it coming out in July as i'd prefer to own a better quality (and legal) version anyways lol. Enjoying it so far, but I guess that was to be expected after seeing what the plot was about lol

Currently I've watched the first 6 episodes of Madlax. I have to say it's very confusing, at least at the moment. It seems to follow the stories of two different girls, one named Madlax and one named Margaret Burton. Madlax is a really attractive and deadly assassin with amazing skills, while Margaret seems to be a girl with a very mysterious past that she isn't aware of yet. Margaret also has some kind of ability too, but it's not clear what exactly it is yet. She just comes off as a very strange girl at this point of the anime.

I'm interested in seeing how it all plays out though.

And I absolutely love the music (not so much the OP and ED as the music played during the episodes). There's no doubt in my mind it's the same group behind the fantastic music of .Hack//Sign. With that in mind, I would love to get the soundtrack for this anime. It really is amazing.

I'll give another review once I'm actually finished with Madlax.

Quick question guys....is the Gundam series linked at all? How many are there?

By linked I mean, is Gundam Seed destiny linked to the original Wing? and so forth or are they all their own series?

Not always. You have to kinda go by what timeline the story sets itself in.

So, it basically goes like this:

Universal Century:

Original MSG, Zeta, ZZ, Char's Counterattack, The 08th, Unicorn (Upcoming), F91, Victory etc.

Future Century:

G Gundam

After Colony:

Wing, Wing: Endless Waltz

After War:

Gundam X

and so on.

Wikipedia is, surprisingly, a lot more detailed about what timelines fit in where.

Edit: However, you could theoretically tie all Gundam timelines together with Turn A. Though any new timelines after Turn A are not part of the theoretical timeline of Gundam.
