What anime are you watching/reading?

Started Ga-Rei Zero last night and holy fuck... show is awesome but way whack. First two episodes are crazy and really draw you in.

Spoiler:
Not really sure how its gonna go now, but everyone they introduce in the first episode dies at the end. Its like WTF, they introduce em and they're like more or less raping it up then BAM all get wasted in like 5 secs by this chick. Crazy shit.


I've never seen an anime like it before thats for sure, want to go watch some more episodes. To bad its only a 12 episode show though.
 
Continuing reading Rave Master, great series. Also began reading Fairy Tail, another great series. Now I want a Fairy Tail Guild Tattoo. =(
 
I'm almost done Claymore, it is great. I'm looking to get the more popular and main stream anime out of the way. Here is what I have so far:

Death Note
Welcome to the N.H.K.
Bleach
Soul Eater
Claymore

I know I still have to do Naruto because it doesn't get more main stream then that. Also, I still have to do Full Metal Alchemist and probably after that D. Gray Man. After those I'll get into specifics.
 
Watching Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS right now, downloaded of course since this isn't even licensed yet. Not what I usually do since I only have 1 other series downloaded and everything else is on DVD, but i'll definately buy this once it's available anyway^^. I just couldn't wait for the months or years for it after watching the first 2 seasons.

who ever did the arabic word need to be fired and spit by a camel , he got the word "courage " wrong !
 
Finished Claymore anime and holy shit, it was epic. I did like the ending.
 
Finally splurged a little on myself. Bought Negima!? (part 1) and Elemental Gelade.

Started watching Negima!? tonight and wow, I really like the style they used this time. I was a bit sad though, I thought it would be more of a continuation of the first series, instead it's a whole new series that so far has the same storyline feeling but definitely seems more action oriented than the original series. I'm only on the 3rd episode but I love it so far!

Yea, it's more of a retelling of the story rather than an official season 2 but I also enjoyed the first 13 episodes that have been released so far. It seems to be more focussed on the Pactio/Action/Magic side of things which I thought was lacking in the original series but at the expense of the more in depth character development I thought the first series had. Both have their charms though.
The graphical/artistic style used is really awesome also, although when they decided to change some of the characters hair colours in the process it confused me at first when trying to figure out who is who XD (Sakurako, Akira, Chisame for instance).

Oh by the way, give me your review of Elemental Gelade once you have watched it please. As I have been considering getting it but I have been hesitating due to not knowing whether it's worth it or not.

Recently finished Nanoha StrikerS (man I hope it gets licensed by someone soon). And currently on episode 10 of Ai Yori Aoshi which is good so far. Although it does kinda feel like i'm watching Love Hina or Ah My Goddess all over again lol.
 
I just watched my first anime in yeeears! It was Elfen Lied, and I was sick and all pukey while I was watching it...I have to say, that show was not helping my stomach problems hah!

But still was good. I wanna get back into anime, I hardly watch anymore.

Yeah I feel the same way about Negima!?. I really liked the character development in the first. It made me feel that much more into what happened at the end.

And yeah, I'll give you a review on Elemental Gelade too. Might take a week or two though, between work and gaming. :3

-edit- On the topic of the girls hairs switching colors. I still have no clue who the girl with red hair who is always saying random words of wisdom is.

My guess is either Misora (the one who is hooked up on Yoga and works for the Mahora Church) although her hair is somewhat grey/brown in colour rather than red. Natsumi (the drama club member with short red hair in the first series) or possibly Chizuru (the girl who is part of the astronomy club and comes accross as very nosy and inquisitive, and is very busty) but I think her hair is red/brown.

Either way they are all minor characters in my view and don't contribute half as much to the story in comparison to girls like Asuna, Nodoka, Konoka, Evangeline etc.

*nod,nod* Yeah, and it must be the girl in the Astronomy Club because she's busty but so far they haven't really displayed her as being nosy and inquisitive. She's definitely one of the minor characters, it was just really bugging me because they show her quite a few times and I just don't really recall her character in the first series.

Nodoka is my own lil favorite character, outside of Negi and Asuna. I kind of like how she's more open in this series, almost from the get-go. And I have to say, Negi is so much more of a little pimp in the second series. I can't believe how much action he's getting. XD

One thing that kind of bothers me is that it seems like there's an endless supply of pactio cards once Negi gets a partner. I could have swore that each probationary contract gave each partner only 3 cards from which Negi could draw, meaning 3 uses and then the contract is over. Yet our hero draws like 2-3 cards from one partner in some episodes.. and then the next episode draws 2-3 cards from the same partner again. Okay now. Is Negi doing the probationary contract a shit ton of times that aren't being shown? Like, what? Is he getting laid nightly and kissing them while his pervert rat friend jacks off watching and screams out PACTIO as he reaches climax? lol.. They just can't show this because its just too adult oriented, right? It just doesn't make any sense.

Another thing that I find funny and annoying at the same time. The second half of part 1 so far seems like someone took 4chan's /b/ and let it rape Negima!?. There is just so much random crap in the middle of an episode, be it some wierd girl who things a frog is her daddy to seeing Pedo bear, long cat.. and other stuff essentially being shown in the anime. Not to mention the numerous over the top, serious poses. You know, when the draw someones face with large flat lines and large eyes to emphasize the ridiculousness. (O_O);
 
Well, I finished part 1 of Negima!? and I can't wait for the rest of it. Anyone else just fall in love with the OP? It's awesome to watch and the music is pretty perfect for it.

Next up is Elemental Gelade, I'll let ya know how that is.

Yep, love the 1000% Sparking OP too. In fact it's my phones ringtone lol.

The english dub of it isn't bad at all either and those usually suck
