Started watching The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya last night. Only up to episode 3 so far but its been pretty lol so far. To bad its only a 13 episoder though (not counting episode 00 cause the quality of it is so bad I don't feel like watching it). The second season is coming out pretty soon though so that should be good. Good stuff so far though.

Sweet, I didn't know they were making a second season. Woot.

I am currently reading Fruits Baskets. I didn't think it was gonna be that great.. But I am addicted to it now. Sooo worth buying.

Trying to pick up new anime to watch :/ Not sure what though.

I am thinking about The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya or Genshiken. :P

Finally finished up Darker than Black. I didn't really get into it until mid way through but at the end it picks up big time and makes the whole show worthwhile. Great show.

Also, I finally stopped slackin' and finished Deathnote. Gotta say, probably one of the worst animes I've ever watched. It was the reverse of Darker than Black, oddly enough.

I agree there. I actually stopped watching it at about episode 25 or so, and didn't watch the last 10ish episodes until like 2 months later. I just lost interest in it. I wasn't a big fan of the ending either.

Yeah, seems like the writer tried to make things a little too psychotic and totally ruined the whole thing. That and it just seemed like a rush job at the end that wasn't very thought out or well played. I think the guy bit off more brains than he could chew. There was one last hope for redemption if Near turned out to be who he looks like but he totally failed to capitalize on something so simple. What an idiot.

Watching Shuffle! ATM. Kept seeing the Ad for it on CAD so I thought I'd check it out. On Ep 4, pretty funny so far.

Just finished a few series this week already due to lack of things to do.

Takyo Mijin's first season. Very Persona, the games, like. A really good one.

Welcome to the NHK! Very touching and disturbin' at the same time. Couldn't bear to watch it again, to much drama, but definitely one everyone must see once.

Zombie Loan. Very cool and very short. That is, if you can get over the ""ultimately useless and annoyin'" main character that it seems most writers like to involve with their stories.

Can't decided between Speed Grapher, Texhnolyze, or Glass Fleet now. Anyone watched these?

reading up Flame of Recca, like it so far, a funny i came across just now...

So I'm watching Shuffle!(not sure if anyone else saw this) and during the anime I feel bad for the child hood friend being left out. Then she went bat shit insane and suddenly I didn't feel so bad. lol

School Days? Don't say to much, I plan on watching that and Shuffle Memories when I finish Rosario+Vampire (which i started last night).

Nothing =( /sadfaces. Nothing has really grabbed me since I finished my last anime, I've sampled a few various ones, and have a few more to check out still, but I'm always open to suggestions if anyone has any. Looking for comedy-ish ones, at the moment.

The first half or so of Welcome to the N.H.K! is friggin' hilarious. The whole series is funny really, in its own sick way, things just aren't so light hearted after the halfway point.

Just watched the first two episodes of Welcome to the NHK, and am very intrigued ;D Not as funny as Pani Poni Dash, but obviously has much more plot... Enjoying it thus far, but have an early tee-time in the mornin, so must sleep. Thanks for the recommendation Strid!

Yeah, it's not a flat out comedy but it's funny none-the-less. Hope you enjoy it to the end. Like I said a few post ago, everyone should watch this series at least once.
