Great start definitely. DB, DBZ and DBGT are anime so thats fine ^^

Just curious, how many people started watching anime with DBZ?

I know I started with DBZ back in the day :old:

anyways, I've finished watching more code geass, Reborn!, D.Gray Man etc, all great so far.

Spoiler:
btw, I've auditioned for a fandub of Tales of symphonia. ^^

DBZ was the first anime I ever saw, but I never really watched it. I started with Rurouni Kenshin and Yu Yu Hakusho on Toonami back in the day.

We never had Rurouni Kenshin or YYH here in the UK =(

Though it'd probably get intentionally edited even more by Jetix here if they did air it =/

lol, honestly, looking back, the dubs were pretty bad, but I didn't want to read while watching TV back then, lol.

I stopped watching anime with DBZ
I was reborn with Neon Genesis Evangelion
watched the entire series in a (school) night.
MINDFSCK D:

Dragonball is probably the first real series of anime I ever watched, but I guess this was down to the fact that the UK never really had that much stuff available to the public. Either on TV or in DVD outlets. I remember many years back catching the end of an episode of Fist of the North Star at like 2am lol, but I was never really taken into it at that time.

I have just recently finished with the FMP series and loved it very much I must say, but i'm stuck on what to watch next. Anything you guys can recommend to me? Possibly something related to what I have been watching already in my post further up. Thanks in advance^^

If you liked Lucky Star and Haruhi, I'd recommend Pani Poni Dash, it's more like Lucky Star, but much much more random and a lot funnier, IMO.

I'd suggest most Gundam series as they will always kick ass, along with Code Geass, and Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann for the mecha side.

For crazy randomness I would suggest Excel Saga, Pani Poni Dash, and Puni Puni Poemy.

For general awesomeness, I would suggest Reborn! D.Gray Man, Soul Eater, One Piece (the Funi dub is GREAT!), Claymore, HunterxHunter (The anime is really short and afterwards split the story into OVAs), Jojo's Bizarre Adventure (Oraoraoraoraora!!!)...

*peers across anime and manga shelf*

... Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex 1st Gig and 2nd Gig, Elfen Lied, Chrono Crusade, Bleach, Hellsing (The OVAs will be released in the UK next month), Yuyu Hakusho, Eyeshield 21, Death Note, Tenchi Muyo, Outlaw Star, Cowboy Bebop aaaaand... GinTama.

btw, the UK did have an anime channel BUT its closing soon to be replaced by another channel with the EXACT SAME SHOWS!

It was AnimeCentral and it was (Still is) on Sky channel 199, all it repeats though is Cowboy Bebop and Ghost In the Shell seeing as its moving channels now.

Lol yea, I used to watch the anime channel a little. It's what got me into FMA actually^^

But now I notice all they seem to show is Ghost In The Shell and Cowboy Bebop so I kinda assumed that the channel was dying a death atm. Shame though since i figured it could really take off if they get some decent contracts to the top shows and make it more appealing.

Just finished season two of Higurashi. Seriously people, Fucking watch this anime. It was so fucking amazing.
What about maho? Did anyone mention Maho to you?

I'm kinda stuck, idk what to start up next. I finished the first negima and wanted to watch the second, but can't find episodes 24, 25 and 26. I've got so many its hard to chose D:

Maho maho maho? Maho maho.

Pro.

Not impressed with this Zombie Loan anime. It's like a bunch of crazy anime chicks got together, made some pretty boy anime males, threw in a odd story, a bunch of near gay scenes, and ran with it.

o...k, lol i'll keep on the lookout for you then

Was gonna start Blood+ last night but figured with SC4 coming out in a few days I'd forget about it and probably end up losing interest. So instead I started Toshokan Sensou (Library War) and other than a far out story premise its actually pretty good. 12 episodes, watched the first four last night. Pretty funny and done by Production IG and its all in 720P so it looks awesome too.

Main character is annoyin' as all get out too. I suffered through it all...

Finished up Toshokan Sensou (Library War) tonight and for a 12 episoder it was actually pretty damn good. Really interesting story, a little out there, but still cool. All the characters were pretty good. Not a ton of action, but enough. Pretty good ending too which for a min i thought could turn out bad.

I recommend it for a quick watcher. Production IG is pretty much always ace.

I'm now finishing off watching G Gundam, holy shit its epic.

I'm so glad I got the complete collection I and II sets.

Edit after seeing the grand finale:

...

HOLY... FUCKING... SHIT... SOOOOOO EPIC!!!!!!!!

....

Mobile Fighter G Gundam's ending, it was so.... EPIC BEYOND ALL REASON!!!
