What Anime/Manga are you Reading/Watching? Part the Second!

I meant the manga....sorry to get your hopes up ecks...but onemanga stopped updating it and I'm curious as to wtf is going on lol...
 
Finished watching Queens Blade which is just fanservice and not much else, so I don't really recommend this at all unless that's all you're after.

Also watched my DVD of Simoun this past week which I was pleasently surprised with. I bought this after I saw the positive review by Ecks some weeks ago here and I'm glad I got it as it had a pretty good storyline and had me hooked from the start. It's visually not the best looking anime but the story was strong and manages to give adequate time to all of the main cast without making them seem like bit-part caharacters. I definately recommend this to anyone.

Not sure as to what to watch next but I got a dozen or so series unwatched although i'm debating rewatching Kaleidostar again (still my favorite anime believe it or not lol) or Kanon maybe which I have only seen once.
 
New season of Darker than Black.
To Aru Majutsu no Index, and the follow on, To Aru Kagaku no Railgun.

Picked up a bunch of other stuff lately, but haven't really had the time to watch them.

Only 200 gigs left on my 1TB external drive...
 
Other than the two shows that Raesvelg mentioned, Nyan Koi! and Kimi ni Todoke are two other series that are currently airing and that are surprisingly good.
 
Finally finished watching Ghost In The Shell: Stand Alone Complex - Second GiG. This anime definitely had many awesome parts to it and all in all it was good. I just don't think it was as good as the first season, and I say that mostly because the ending was kind of built up but not really a solid ending. Plus there's a whole slew of questions that open up from of the scenes/side stories in the anime that are left unanswered. We're only left to speculate and guess and I really just don't like that from a story.

Also finished watching "season 2, part 1" of D. Gray-Man. I really enjoy this series and look forward to how it progresses. But watching 7 episodes in one night when you're already exhausted is not a good idea. I have to re-watch an episode at the end because I couldn't help but pass out.
 
I'd have to agree with you there Ecks, SAC1 is the better of the two seasons hands down, and had a better overall story IMO. Although I love the first episode in season 2, as a single episode thats probably one of if not my favorite from both seasons.

I did the same thing in August. It's still sooo awesome though. Too bad it feels like it's going to be over soon.
 
I just finished watching Claymore today. Now that was an awesome series. Everything was great, story was kind of predictable but even so it was awesome to watch. The music was kick ass and the animation was pretty awesome too. I loved the use of the colors that made the blood stand out as well as the yoki eyes.

Definitely a great series. I only hope that there might be a second season to it at some point. I'm sure the manga probably continues the story but bah! I want anime!

Crunchyroll streams it. Though, unfortunately, if your wanting to stream it for free you'll need to wait an entire month. I'm not sure where else to find it.

Just finished up the first season of Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, Jesus this series is way too funny!!! XD

Funny enough.. NarutoCentral.com also has both the Fairy Tale anime and manga up. Downloadable to boot. You'll have to navigate a little bit I think but it's definitely there.

Lately I've been watching Blood+ because I FINALLY saw part two of the series (last 25 eps) on store shelves. It's been like 2-3 years since the first half was released (the dub). I'm not sure what took so damn long but I'm glad I finally have it all. I already re-watched the first 25 episodes again and am already into the second half. I really enjoy this anime, great stuff! I just wish there hadn't been such a long wait on the second half of the dub.

I also watched .Hack//G.U. Trilogy recently it was really good. Been a while since I played the games and for the most part it was a nice refresher even if it doesn't completely follow the game's storyline, it's close. I kind of felt sad that they neglected a few characters from the game, specially ones that were in the story so much. I don't even think they got even a brief cameo in the anime yet one of the Roots characters actually got an appearance, well.. in the parody mode, but even so and she was only an after-you-beat-the-game unlockable. Cool movie though, anyway. It's a shame they couldn't have used the video game's voice actors to dub the movie. I enjoyed the game's voice acting.

Well, when I finish with Blood+ I'm gonna start watching Wolf's Rain. Use to watch a lot of it when it aired on Adult Swim, but never in continuity. Visually though I remember liking what I saw and thinking that it seemed like it had an interesting story. So now that I own it I get to see if I was right.

I'm currently reading Magic Kaito, working on the first volume. I'm also watching Detective Conan, on episode 544 now and in the middle of the 12th movie, and I'm following along in the manga version as well. It's got an addicting quality to it for me.
