After Higurashi, watch Umineko. That's all I have for now.

Started watching Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai last night (on episode 4 I think) and enjoying it so far. If it's anything like the first series then i'll be happy :)

Also had a delivery today from Rightstuf.com from when they had their Geneon sale a couple of weeks back. Bought the following:-

Ergo Proxy
Elemental Gelade
Rozen Maiden
Rozen Maiden ~Traumend~
Hanaukyo Maid Team ~La Verite~ (all 3 volumes)

... Good Times!

Nice.

A couple days ago I received all of the Hunter X Hunter TV show. The dub isn't too bad, but it certainly coulg be a lot better, then again though I'm only on the second disc of prt 1 so I still have a lot more episodes to watch.

I just hope that Viz will release the OVAs of the YorkShin (or YorkNew in the translated manga) Auction and Greed Island, and I certainly hope that Nippon Animation start work on the Chimera Ants arc.

At the risk of losing any geek cred I may have, I'm watching Death Note for the first time (seven episodes, so far).

Watched Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai and Rei over the last week and it was better than I expected. It carries on from the first series almost seamlessly and doesn't dissappoint with the ending either.

Gonna watch Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Special: Nekogoroshi-Hen before I start something else from my stockpile of unwatched anime.

To Gerry, I'll watch Umineko once it's finished airing and is complete for me to download since I hate waiting to watch the next episodes lol. As far as i'm aware it ends just after xmas so not long to wait^^

I just watched disgaea all the way through, due to recently buying disgaea II for the psp

AMAZING anime, the disgaea series in general as games are great too :D

Aye, the games are a real blast to play. Haven't seen the anime as I'm too wrapped up in Detective Conan, but I'll have to check it out.

Ohhh my Hali I think I know you well enough now to know that you're in for a great treat.

I just finished Wolf's Rain tonight... god damn. It's been a long time since I've watched such a sad anime. Sad in a good way though. I swear to god.. it's like the last 5 episode's whole purpose were to make people cry their eyes out.

Such a good anime, and very artistic. Not just by how it looked but by how the visuals were perceived. When the wolves where in human form and when they were shown in wolf form. It all meant something to the overall story.

The only thing I didn't like was the very end, I felt it could have been better. But then, I'm just one of those guys that hates when a story doesn't leave you with enough to know how the characters are after the story's over, and that's how I felt at the end of Wolf's Rain.

Still an amazing anime that I'd suggest to anyone.

I've finally decided to sit down and watch One Piece. 500+ episodes here we fucking go.

Ergo Proxy is that one anime that stands above all others for me. I absolutely love that show and you will not find another like it. If you enjoy it I'd suggest getting online and watching the subbed version as it was, to me, like watching a different take (Geneon's subs make it out to be just like the English version so it wont work watching it on DVD unless you happen to understand even the most difficult words of Japanese vocabulary). A lot of the story got lost in translation but the English version is excellent in its own right. The American Voice acting is top notch, for which I can only say that about Ergo Proxy and Ghost in the Shell. Liam is top notch as Vincent in Ergo Proxy, he puts his Gara voice work to shame.

Havn't watched it just yet but it's good to know people on here rate it highly. I was intrigued by it a long time ago after watching the trailer and finally decided to get it.

After finishing the awesome Higurashi anime's I watched Kodomo No Jikan (both series) and currently watching Rozen Maiden. I have seen the first series and now currently half way through Traumend (second season). All very much enjoyable thus far. Perhaps Ergo Proxy will be next after I'm done with Rozen Maiden.

Just make sure you don't watch it while in a mood to see something fast paced and up-beat. It is slow, dark, deep, and heavy.

HOLY CRAP! Chapter 102 of FMA, oh my god!

Dammit why can't January arrive faster, I want to know what happens next! Arakawa is gearing up for an epic finale!! Your a genius!!!

OH MY GOD HUNTER X HUNTER CHAPTER 291 IS ACTUALLY IN THIS NEXT ISSUE OF SHONEN JUMP!!!!!!!!!!

O_o

Holy crap holy crap holy crap!!!!

Started reading Reborn or Katekyo hitman reborn! To some people, at first the main character was rather annoying and didn't progress well in terms of becoming "stronger" which did make me want to stop reading it here and there but there were some reasons I couldn't stop. The babies in it all rock, the theme is pretty cool and it's a pretty funny manga. Not only that the main character does decide to get stronger and rely less on everyone around him which was awesome for me.

I'm about halfway through watching Nabari. It's an anime about ninja's that live in two worlds. There's the outside world (like the same normal world we all live in) and then there's the Nabari world (which is the ninja world and involves the different clans and ninjutsus) and hence the title of the anime.

Story follows the adventure of one extremely apathetic boy who apparently is in possession of the greatest ninja abilities ever created. It starts out and he doesn't even know he has it. The ability to do anything, change anything. He is basically a god, per say.

So far, the anime is decent. There is ninja action, but there's far more story development going on because there's way more talking than fighting.

So far I am enjoying this take on ninjas.

After finishing all Rozen Maiden episodes I watched Nagasarete Airantou recently. And as of last night I started Hanaukyo Maid Team ~La Verite~. Also reading/watching the Shuffle! Visual Novel by Mangagamer which was semi-recently released in English on the side. Gotta love those harems.... ^^

Finished watching Umineko's anime.

Pro Tip: DON'T WATCH IT! It's Horrible! They completely ruined everything about Umineko. I can't even call it an adaptation any more, it's a butchered version of something fantastic. Chiaki Kon (The "Director" for this pile of fail) should jump off a building for the insurmountable fail this anime was. >_>

Stick to the manga and the original Visual Novels folks.
