Spiders *shivers* although since I divorced my first husband I can now kill them IF I HAVE TO! The funniest spider incident happened not long after my current husband and I got married. I was going to the bathroom and all the sudden this spider comes down right in front of my face. I immediately started screaming for my husband...who is wondering what the hell happened...did i slip and smash my head on the toilet or what?? lol. He was laughing so hard as he sees me sitting there leaning back as far as I can...screaming for him to "get it! get it! lmao
I actually am VERY creeped out by spiders but only react in extreme ways when startled by them.
My other phobia has to do with straws...especially the kind McDonalds uses...I am seriously struggling with even thinking about them right now..lol I HATE when people squeek there straws in the plastic lids..that is way worse to me than nails on chalkboard. I have this VERY irrational fear of holding a straw..falling and having it poke in my eye..lol
I have overcome a fear of falling and breaking out my teeth (actually did break my front teeth in 5th grade) I used to dream (nightmares really) about falling and breaking my teeth. That finally stopped for some reason.
I used to be afraid of "the thing under the bed" I would always have my bed next to the light switch so that I could get into bed and THEN turn the light out. I finally made myself sit on the bed in the dark until I was no longer afraid.
