What are some classic rpgs for the PS1?

When you first come to the main boss in most RPGs, it doesn't even matter if he waits his turn, because chances are he'll one shot you.

Nothing like a bad guy that can go to the bathroom and *still* have time to kill you in an overly extravagant fashion.
