What happened to Raise 3 prices O.o??

Ok, over the past 2 weeks, the price of Raise 3 has shot up 1 million gil?? What is going on here?? Why has a spell that has sold normally for 500k suddenly shot up to 1.5 million in about 2 weeks. And it is not just our server that this has happened. Thoughts??

Personally I think it is beacause of the new BC battles. Since they have come out, no one does the older BC 30 kindred seal battles that dropped raise 3. This is just what I think I could be wrong.

And right now I would just like to say how much it has to suck to be a WHM right now if you dont have raise 3.
 
the worst part of R3... is that it is of NO benefit to the WHM.... whms cast it on others... that sucks :/

off topic: Delta enforcer.... when i think of delta i think of Chrono Trigger, and that triple tech called delta strike... i think.... what does Delta mean anyhoo? >_>
 
We stole the name from my one of my favorite CoP mission battles. It is the BC battle from Boneyard Gully where it is you vs 3 mithra. The trick to this battle is the 3 mithra have linked tp and when they get 100% they all run over to 1 person and do the same skillchain every time:

Guillotine > Evisceration > Wheeling Thurst

This creates a Light chain on someone basically killing that person (Very much like Chrono Trigger Delta Attacks)

When you beat the BC you get the title "Delta Enforcer" We stole that title for the LS name ^^
 
Well Delta is also the 4th letter of the Greek alphabet, so I guess 4 people can make a triangle, which is the symbol for the letter Delta lol

Exactly why no one should have problems with charging for spells like teleports and whatnot. Any WHM's who need raise 3 should get into a static of some sort and take donations. I mean, people really should help mages buy spells that benefit the party...because you are right, it's not like they cast it on themselves..
 
Selta is also used to represent change, as in the delta T (Tempreture) of the reacton was +35 degrees, it went up 35 degrees. It is also the military term for D.

As for Raise 3, only Kirin the Admanking, and a few select BCNMs drop it. Rumor has that certain groups have been camping the Admantking for sometime and are keeping all the Raise 3s. This makes me angry at the non WHM community as a whole. You let this bullshit happen to us you aint getting no Raise 3. I have gotten to the point that until someone else goes the extra mile for ME I aint doing this for them. I got Raise II for you guys before it to went to went to some obscene price.
 
I saw this...was more than pissed. All I can say is someone pulled some sell-ta-to-friend crap to inflate this massively, or some people on the server were just way, way, way too desperate to get the spell. If it's this bad I say we schedule a HighPriest farmsession ¬.¬;;
 
There is some good news for WHMs though, the BCs that drop raise 3 are very very easy with 6 people at level 75. Just that the drop rate on raise 3 is kind of low :/

When I came up with the idea of the name, there were only 3 of us, and for the most part there are only 3 delta enforcers on at a time anyway, so it still works out ^^;

Yeah but the problem is people expect you too have the spell right when you hit level 70.
 
If you manage to get a R3. You should pay at least 5k, if it's going for 1.5mil. I remember.. I was in delkfutts level25 RDM just getting buffer before I head to Kazham. I died and our WHM was lv25 without raise, and our other WHM was 24 but with raise scroll. I didn't want to HP so I convinced the lv24 to give the 25 his scroll. Then paid him back 5k. They thought I was rich cause I paid 5k for a raise.. Lol. Good times.
 
Delta is also used in the definition of a limit on the accuracy on the x-axis i believe. Fucking calculus.
 
Please... Deltas in calculus are evil... I am taking Calc II atm... Let us never speak of Calculus again.
 
I thought delta was the symbol meaning the change in. Like in physics delta T over D gives you the slope of a graph or something. We're learning Hfus, Specific Heat Compacity, and Hvap ie. Q=mc(delta)t. delta t means the change in temperature.
 
I suddenly feel quite good about only spending 200k on my raise 3, but now I trully regret using it. 1.5 mill...wow :shock: I want to sell mine back.
 
Its nothing new. At the introduction of raiseII when they moved the cap to 60, do you know how you obtained raise2? Guess not. It was prior to the NA release. There were only one. Yes one way to get raise2. Thats by killing yagudo high priest. He was the ONLY way to get a scroll of raise2. I am talking about the time when raise2 was 1mill gill.

A couple of months later, they made more BCNMs and of course raise2 drop has been confirmed in there. So prices went lower. At the introduction of 70 cap, raise3 was like now prices going from the range of 1mill~1.5mill was normal. Prices of raise3 going up is due to supply vs demand. Many people doesn't do those kindred bc30 which drops raise3. But rather moves to other bcnms.
