what if....RP

Lokkin hadn't even noticed the sleeping Jender over on the bed.

"Thank god.."

OOC: well we went back to town so presumably you 'homepointed' ellah, you should be up and about just fine again /giggle

OOC:Well, in that Case ...

IC: The Pictures of the 2 Ceilings started to align again, and the Aches from an Orc falling on top of one also started getting more specific ...
Now whe knew where she was ... She wasn't in that blissful Place filled with Stars anymore, she was in a Bed, too large, of course, in a Room with some others ..
"Uuuuh" Ellah groans "thataru Orc had a thick Skull ..." as she rights herself. After this, she looks around and sees some others laying on Beds and talking quietly. "Where are we ?" she inquires in an even thicker Windurstian accent, "and where is the other tall One ?" she mumbles while getting up and slowly climbing down the Side of the Bed.
After a Brief rest she looks around for some Food and starts Chowing down, loudly and quickly, while waiting for an Answer ...

OOC:So who all is here ? and who all is conscious ?

OOC: me and mistaya are conscious(presumably) and jender is sleeping
uh methinks >.>

IC: "Mistaya, we need to talka bout.. you know, Jender and her... situation."

Lokkin walks outside into the garden, and turns to face mistaya

"I know you've been in that particular situation before... I saw it in that cave.. and back in the room..."

"You know what she has to do, unfortunately you and I are the only ones that do, we can hope the others will stay a little longeruntil she overcomes the stone but you and I must stay with her until this is fixed, do you agree?"

Lokkin looks expectantly at Mistaya

OOC: I'm not *quite* sure i know whats going on but i'll play along.

A resentful frown passed over her face like a shadow.

How had she gotten involved in this? Just minding her own business, raising her harp skills, adn a bunch of people come along and lo and behold she get sucked into an adventure she had played out before, and one that she had sworn never to get involved with again...

"I know more than you think..." She whispered.

But Mistaya had liked Jender quite a lot when they met, and she knew that the trials ahead were not something that Jender would be able to overcome alone, even though she was very strong. Eventually, the stone would...

She shuddered and sighed.

"I will stay with you, for as long as i can. But i do not know how long that is."

Jender awakens slowly to a pulsing sensation near her heart. She grabs the stone from her armor, and notices that it now beats in sequence with her heartbeat. She smiles, strangly comforted.

"I had the most wonderful dream" she says to the stone, obviously speaking to it as if it were her lost love. "You were there...in our secret place. You ascended from the sky to tell me that you were proud of me and that everything was going to be ok." *sigh* "I miss you so very much....but am now starting to believe that in your passing, I am faced with my destiny. I do not fully understand it yet, but I will make you proud, I promise. These are some very nice people, I am learning a lot.." Jender stops, noticing the Taru staring at her, as she speaks to the stone.

Jender giggles at Ellah. "Hi there....are you hungry?" Jender gets up and heads toward the door to find something to kill and eat. She sees Lokkin and Mistaya in the distance.

"Thank you mistaya.. and I'm sorry you got dragged into this, I never expectded the stone's pull to be quite so strong."

Lokkin catches a glimpse of movement out of the corner of his eye and turns around to face Jender.

Smiling he says "Welcome Jender... you were out for 10 minutes longer than me but I'm sure mines hurt more." laughs at himself, "so how are you feeling?"

Jender smiles, in an oddly good mood...very odd...

"Refreshed, thanks! Good to see you are doing well, how is your head?" Jender says to Lokkin as she scans the area for rabbits to make some stew out of.

"Aching but thats expected, hehe the orcs have very strong arms i noticed"

Lokkin winces in pain as something touches his head.

"Ow, what was that?"

Satisfied, Ellah comes out of the Door too, removing Crumbs from her Robes, "Well, It was a greataru Pleasure travelling with you, but my Fishing is calling me." she says.
"But i will send a Friend of Mine over, a Mithra, her name is Inuko. She is a fierce Fighter and a greataru Meatshield." after some Goodbye's she turns and leaves, waving until her Tiny Taru Arm can't be seen anymore.

OOC Ellah is on the Backburner for a while. I'll start Leveling Inuko, thinking of taking War all the Way to 75, someday.

"Oh...hehehe...sorry" Jender says as she removes her hand from Lokkin's head. "I don't know what has come over me lately" she says with a smile and a wink.

Jender then looks over and notices Mistaya watching her. She sees a faint glow around Mistaya's body...and begins to wonder if she is hallucinating, if that is why she has been uncontrolably giddy all morning....

"Uh, I should really wat something..." Jender mutters before chasing after a nearby forest hair

Lokkin turns around to face Mistaya again.

"The orb is beginning to effect her more and more each day, thank you again for agreeing to help me guide her."

"That is where you.... What are you doing?"

Lokkin notices a white aura surrounding Mistaya, a memento of white magic, he knew this from his time as a white magic weilder.

OOC: er huh? ummm confuzzled

"I'm not doing anything... Oh."
MIstaya relaxed, she had been thinking very hard and it was fairly easy for magic to take hold of her. She used to welcome it, want it, feed on its power. But not anymore.

OOC: lol sorry i couldnt refuse the urge to build on what jender was saying

IC: "Hmmm... anyway i was about to say thats where you come in, you've been down this path before.. if not in such circumstances I, however, have not, I know the basics of what she must do..."

Lokkin let down his guard for a moment and let sympathy sweep across his face... only for a moment though, no longer.

"I realize what I'm asking you to do may harm you physically, emotionally, and mentally, if it gets to hard don't hesitate to say so, I'll always be... by your side."

Lokkin wasn't sure how it came out like that but knew it was too late now.

Mistaya paused, shocked.

"..."

Her memory was so hazy from that part of her life. All darkness and anger. But she was certain that someone... someone had said that before. But he obviously wasnt here now was he? Or was there a reason...

"Thank you." was all she could think to say.

The truth was she had not been in this position before. She had been in the opposite position. Where Jender was now. And she did not know all that had been done to bring her out of that state. Of course she had been under the influence for far longer... Years. If it could be stopped early... Well it would be far better for Jender.

"Lokkin come here." She pointed to a rough wood bench. The two sat.
Mistaya took off the red and brown gloves that covered her hands.
"Do you see this?" She pointed to the deep black scars on her palms. Slowly running her finger over the festering welts, she sighed.
"These will never fully heal. Always there to remind me of... the past."
Quickly she slid the gloves back on.
"I have been in a dark place. If i have to go back there to bring Jender out, He may not let me leave this time."

Lokkin couldnt help but get goosebumps when she said 'He'.

"Very well mistaya, it's possible that... I may be able to do it alone with your guidance... only with your guidance... I have not been in this position before so by myself I wouldnt be able to help her."

Lokkin closed mistaya's outstretched, scarred hands and held them close to his heart.

"Please help me do this mistaya..."

Lokkin couldnt believe it... was it possible the stone was truly more than foreseen? did this stone have the power that it seemed to have or was it something more? something different... in either case he could not stop it until it showed itself, and that may take longer than expected.

Jender kills the first hare in sight and upon grabbing it off the ground, to bring it back to the house to cook and eat....she bursts into tears at the sight of the limp creature.

"What the HELL IS WRONG WITH ME" she thought as she wept uncontrollably. "I hate hares - they are so ugly here, and I kill and eat them several times a week - why am I so filled with sadness right now??? I was in such a good mood moments ago..."

Jender sits on the ground slightly shivering, holding the dead animal...stomach growling with intensity
