what if....RP

Mistaya walked between Jender and Lokkin, thinking about what Inuko had said. What had she gotten herself into? Was it her fate to always be caught in the power stuggle between good and evil? Was she doomed to walk the dark path once again? She prayed it wasnt so. It was so easy for some... But it seemed that every step Mistaya took on the side of Altana caused her to tumble ever closer to the other...

The Dark One.

She forced herself to smile and chat with the others. But her thoughts were troubled.

While waiting, Inuko Remembers ...

Below the Mountain, now known as Ifrits Cauldron, a small Village sits, neatly arranged below a Lava Rock Overhang. Tonight the usually light and happy Mood is broken by a Ceremony Ancient and Revered.
The Town Square is lit by Torches that glow in a Green Light. All the Huntresses, even the Youngest Ones are assembled in their traditional Red and Black Clothes, even the Male Mithra are there, their Manes covered in GemStones.
The Mass forms a Circle around an Altar, upon which sits a Young Mithra, Alone and in a white Robe. Over the lone Mithra Stands another, carrying an Axe, Face set in Grim Determination. After Hours of Chanting A Priest arrives. Carrying a Brazier, glowing with Coals, holding a Single Stone. "This is The Chieftainesses Stone. Are you Ready to Accept it, barring none of the consequences ?" intonates the Priest, an Elderly Elvaan. The young Mithra in White nods, glancing at the Heavy Axe looming closely. The Elvaan picks up the Stone with some Tongs and nods once more to the youn One on the Altar. He raises the Tongs, and an inhumanly tortured Scream riles the Birds from their Sleep, seconds later.
That Night a Girl sits sobbing in her Hut, holding her Forehead, sometimes wishing the Axe had descended. That Night a
Village celebrates it's Greatest Victory. A Victory over the Forces of Vana'Diel themselves. They Celebrate yet another Year of Living in the Shadow of a Mountain that contained one of the Spirits making up the World they knew.

1 Year later ...

A frightened Goblin sits pinned to the Ground by Axes, staring into the Eyes of a Mithra with an old Scar on her Forehead. He knows this marks the strongest Hunter they Have and most Goblins who stumble into this Particular Tribe never Live to tell the Story behind the Scar.
But short before the Last Stroke falls, her Eyes glaze and the Mithra screams and turns on her Comrades. None of the Kindness and Jest they show towards each other is left now. All there is, is cold and calculated blows with deadly Intent. By now all the Goblin can do to Escape the Whistling Blades now is to Roll Up and Pray. The Furious Fight between the Hunters lasts only a few Moments, until one of the non-scarred ones takes the Leaders Head clean off. The Awkward Angle and the Speed of the Axe ends the Brave Warriors Life also and the last of the Party falls in a Puddle of her own Blood.
The Goblin waits a few more Minutes until he opens his Eyes, and all he sees is Death. Dead and Wounded Mithra lay everywhere. Driven by Curiosity the Goblin searches among the Corpses and finds the Leaders Head. The old Scar was gone, replaced by a shining Gem. Longingly the poor Victim of Fate picks up the treasure and Heads towards Khazam. He hopes to go to a Friend in Jeuno, sell the Gem and become Rich and Fat, making Backpacks for Adventurers who shell out massive amounts of Gil everyday.
What the Goblin doesn't know is that one Week later Ifrit's Cauldron bursts, freeing the Mighty Spirit and burning a Village hidden by Rocks and Plants. And setting the Survivors on a Trek through the Dangerous Jungles. Among them a Hunter called Inuko ...

"Pack, We Hunt !" mumbles Inuko, receiving a sidelong Glance from Jender. As the small Troupe start a Journey towards the Jungles of Yahtor ...

OOC: Ha ! Try this for Plot ! Sorry, Oni but I couldn't resist, I had an Inspiration and needed to put it down somewhere.

OOC: All this was more an Explanation for Inuko's Purpose, the Actual RP still goes on, doesn't it ?

OOC: yeah ok, it should do the plot some good, jender needs to learn how to use the stone this "Common Goal" might as well be the way to do it

Jender walks among her friends, quietly - enjoying the sounds of the wind and the birds. She realizes that she has no clue where they are going, or what they are doing - but has not choice but to follow along. She now keeps the stone in a pocket in the back of her armor...and though the stone is not near her heart, she continuously feels it's presence.

She looks over to Mistaya and sees the same glowing aura that she saw days before. She grabs Mistaya's hand and stops for a moment. "Thank you" she says simply, and quietly before giving a genuine smile. Mistaya could tell that Jen was frightened, but brave... "Can I show you something?" Jender lead Mistaya away from the group for a moment and opened up her armor, showing Mistaya the large bruise that has formed over her heart. "I don't know where this came from....I am frightened."

Jender looks over and notices Inuko looking in their direction, and embarrassed at her own exposure, closes her armor immediately, and blushes. Jender nervously giggles "Sorry about that, I am usually very shy..." she says to Inuko, covering her chest.

Lokkin walked along completely impervious to that fact that the women had stopped and gathered over in one side of the forest, but he knew there was something here that shouldn't be, looking over at Jinnai as Jinnai looked at him and nodded he though it best to scout ahead a bit.

"I'll be back in a moment, I assume you feel it too so I'll trust you to protect the.... where did they go?"

Looking around he noticed him and Jinnai were the only ones in the clearing.

OOC: make it more obvious then im half asleep here

IC: Just realizing now that he was alone, he back tracked abit looking for the others.

"Mental note: company is bad news..."

The feeling had fled a little while ago but Lokkin was still alert as he looked for the elvaan and the 2 mithra.

Jender fastens her armor back up over the rather large bruise, and ducks down with Mistaya and Inuko. They had all heard a strange sound, and were being careful to not be surprised by anything large and ugly.

Lokkin walks in on the 3 women, squatting, drawing there weapons, jumoing onto him and them with 2 knifes each at his throat.

"I double that mental note...company is REALLLLY bad."

"Jesus, you scared the crap out of us" Jender says while removing her sword from Lokkin's throat. "Didn't you hear that noise? It freaked us out!" She says before wincing a bit, grasping onto her heart. Jender tries to toughen up and muttlers "errr...maybe it is a sign to keep moving"

Jender begins to walk, in hopes that someone else will lead. She has no clue where this journey is taking her - but daydreams of answers and closure...once and for all

"Umm... ladies.. I wonder if you'd like to.. uh... you know... remove the steel from my organ of breathing?"

OOC - Ummmm.... :

OOC:lol sorry, i was intending it for the other 2 aswell thought they were online :-P

ooc: dum de dum de dum... hello again yay the board isnt dead anymore...^^; Oni you can ummm be wherever you want ehe... im just trying to move along~

Mistaya tucked the short dagger back into her boot. It was time to get moving. Soon they had wandered out of the ronfarue forests and there before them were the empty rolling hills of Lathine.

Lokkin, picking Inuko's dagger off his neck with two fingers, with incredible difficulty, followed after the other two, and into the vast field of La theine

In the mydst of Yuhtunga Jungle, Jinnai walked down the path as calm as pond water.

"Hmm..."

Jinnai turned the corner, and he saw a ghastly appearance of a ghost Mithra, standing there. Two Malboro-type ghosts stood at each of her sides.

"Oh?"

The mithran ghost noticed Jinnai, she pointed at him, and the two malboro's started dashing towards Jinnai. Jinnai unsheathed his katana. When they came within range, Jinnai slashed at them both, but it was useless. The blade just went through the ghosts like if he was slashing at a waterfall. The ghost malboros grabbed Jinnai with their tentacles. "What the!?" Jinnai thought. His katana was plucked from his hand. The mithra laughing. Blood ran down from his Hachimaki. "No! I will...not...." Jinnai said.

"It is time for the rebirth! You must awaken!" Said the ghost image of a mithra.

"I...will....not..." Jinnai said effortly as the Malboro's squeezed harder. Jinnai casted an angry look towards the mithra. Blood running down from his head, his wrists, and his ankles. Blood flowers already blooming from Jinnai's fresh blood that consumed his shadow.

"You can not escape destiny Jinnai." The mithra walked up to Jinnai, death at her wake. Flowers and the grass shriveled up and died as she walked to Jinnai.

Jinnai took this oppurtunity and his eyes and sword glew red again. The sword ripped off the malboro's tentacle and it struck the mithran ghost. The sword punctured her stomach.

"Hahahaha! You think you can actually kill me with that weak attack!?" The mithra laughed histerically.

"Yes..." Jinnai said smiling grimly. The sword's energy exploded. The mithra and the malboro's dissapeared, and she said before she left. "We will meet again." Jinnai fell to the ground, deaf to the sounds of the jungle, his ears filled with the mithra's laugh.
