what if....RP

Jinnai jumped onto the deck. Saw Jender fall to the ground and black out, he ran up to her, set down his sword, and set her head on his arm.

"Jender..." Jinnai sighed. Maybe it just might work for her too, Jinnai thought. He leaned down and set his lips on her, like she did to him back in the Inn. He leaned back, and looked at her, and waited for her to wake.

Jender's eyes opened slowly, she peered up at a worried looking Jinnai and smiled. She didn't fully understand the connection she seemed to have with him, but it felt as though it was a truly strong force.

Jender, barely able to move, rolled her head to the right and peered at the stone...she tried to move her arms, but could not...slowly the stone began to move toward her on it's own...

Jinnai smiled in relief that she woke up. He looked over at the stone, he gave it a strange, but frightened, look. "Your stone...It is similiar to my sword...It moves back to the owner when separated from them..."

As the stone reached Jender, she was immediately able to sit up again. She was still a little weak, but mobile. She grabbed the stone and held it in her hand, with a feeling of relief flushing through her body.

She sat infront of Jinnai, closer than she sits to most, and looked into his eyes, then at his sword. "That was the first time that it had ever come back to me on it's own...your sword has that ability too? Are we cursed in some way?" She says to him quietly, feeling comforted that someone else may be going through similar occurrances...and happy that it is Jinnai whom she can share this with.

"Well, the sword was forged from, well, my body. It was born from my soul, thus it is linked to my soul. If it dies, I die, and vice versa. It is relatively close to a human, it needs to eat. So I have to feed it, and of course, that is blood," Jinnai stood up, rain drops dripping from his soaked hair, "I wonder, about your stone, you say you got it from a lost loved one?"

Jinnai picked up his sword and sheathed it.

"Ummm.... Jender? I don't suppose, maybe you could, uh, get me down?"

Lokkin had been hanging there while the two had their quiet conversation.

OOC: I was thinking that when my concentration broke, you and Jinnai fell on your own....that's how he played it anyway...

OOC: merci monsiouer ^^

IC: "What are you laughing at?" he said to the opo-opo and playfully tapped Mayoke's nose.

Getting up, and brushing off the dust his armour had collected, "OK you lovebirds, lets get moving, we're probably almost there," Leaving the other two still kneeling on the floor, Lokkin walked away with a grin that touched his eyes.

Just as Krark opened his mouth to answer the question asked to him, Lokkin interrupted and ran over to check on Jender, who seemed to be fading out of reality. Krark followed behind him slowly, watching the events take place. Then, in a flash, Lokkin was thrown into the wall at the mercy of the stone that Krark had been so weary of in his mind. As soon as Lokkin got thrown, he ran to him and started trying to pry him away. He made a little leway, but was ultimately unsuccessful in getting him down.

"Dammit, let him go!!" This was nearly a roar and to no one in particular, just a shout of anger at the uncontrollable situation. He continued to struggle, and he said slowly, "Hang in there, Lokkin, it'll be over in a few."

Then, with a flash, he had been dropped, and the stone had drawn itself back to Jender like some sort of terrible demonic idol. He sneered at it with a bubbling hate that he hadn't felt in a long, long time. He thought he would never be so angry again in his life as he stared at that stone. He then shook it away and stood back again, feeling a bit of fear. He felt cold inside, like something very bad was on the horizon, but he couldn't tell what...

"Is everyone all right??" Krark asked shakily, and then looked between everyone to make sure they weren't dead.

Jender, starts to get up...looks at Jinnai's sword and whispers "it is beautiful" then looks over to Krark and says with fake confidence "Um, yeah - everything is fine! Under control now, thanks big guy!" she says horrified inside, but trying to be chipper infront of the newcomber...she did not wish to frighten him away, and was terrified of what he may think of her, now that he had seen the stone in action.

Jender turns to Jinnai, and says "Yes, my fiancee gave me the stone, the night before he was killed. He told me that he had been waiting to give it to me ever since we met - and to hold onto it forever, to never let it out of my sight. Now, it is all that I have left of him - and I fear that all I want is to be rid of it. I don't understand how or why it effects me the way that it does. Did he wish this fate upon me? Did he know that he was about to perish? This has been a very long, and confusing journey" She says, feeling comfortable opening up to Jinnai "Thank you for joining us and....for, well....thank you." She said before kissing Jinnai on the cheek and scurrying to the other side of the ship - trying to free herself from any embarrassment.

OOC: I'm really sorry, I didn't mean to mess stuff up. I was just trying to get my thoughts in there about the stone. I kinda wanna go with the angle I was building. I didn't mean to unsequence the whole thing...

OOC: No - it's totally cool, no worries. I enjoy your writing style, keep it up!

what ever was happening at the back of the airship was just the distraction Buell was looking for. all eyes on the ship were focused on the group and the "strange stone" as it slid across the deck of the ship. using this she sneaked into the forward engine room and set the timer on the goblin bomb to 10 seconds.

The meeting with her contact had gone well. She was given free reign to stop this group by any means nessesary. And they must have known by now what that meant to her. The only way to surely finish any job was to kill.

as the timer quickly counted down, she pulled out the scroll she had been given and disapeared into mist. in a short moment the forward engine room would explode and one of the main propelers keeping the airship aloft would seize. the ship would either crash into bits or be forced to make an emergency landing.

She would be waiting for them in kazham... IF they made it...

"I seriously hope I never find a girl, they way those two act," Lokkin said to himself.

Lokkin stretched out on deck, letting the rain soak into him, it had been a long time since he last felt rain, he had been in the Valkurm Dunes too long.

"Guess I'd better get ready to leave," Lokkin jumped to his feet and walked to the stairs, where he stopped and saw Mistaya staring up at him.

Kurgon is found baking on the rivers shore in the mid-day sun. His fishing gear drapped over the rocks drying out from his uneventful dousing earlier in the day.

While checking the condition of his gear he mumbles "I grow weary of fishing. I must get back to what I do best.".

He looks around to see if anyone is watching and quickly throws his slightly damp clothes back on. The monk slowly makes his way towards the North. "First to Jeuno and from there to Kahzam." Withing a few minutes the river could no longer be seen and the monk blended into the nothingness...
