Said by a WHM I PTed with shortly in Yhoator Jungle (who had MNK subbed XD); the first fight we got in, she ran right up to the front lines and started meleeing while she cured. She also used a Meat Mithkabob and spammed Boost as much as me. Then after the battle, she said she'd be afk for a few minutes while she went outside to smoke. I took that opportunity to get out of the PT.

Said by a WAR in a party in the maze when I was 16lv...
There was NO WHM in our party, so we had no choice and hunted some gobs or bats to kill time (anyway till the end we still had no WHM). But the WAR was not satisfied with the xp we get, and he totally ignored the party leader's instuction. Once he got full he went out and pull without asking if we are ready/can I pull now...

At last he left the team(don't sure if he was kicked by the leader), he suddenly commited suicide attacking a bat. We just sat there with our mouth widely opened...-o-

(by the way, I did the Taru dance ON his dead body once he died...)

pulling as a whm is easy. invisible sneak deodorize, then dia and run. only worx if there's 2 whms tho. anyway the dumbest thing ive ever heard isnt really one thing but instead it was a conversation

is it just me or do too many ppl think whms are obligated to raise every1 who dies? just phreaking spawn. im not running from one end of konschtat to the other end of valkurm just cuz a few stupid newbs died and are scared to lose a full 300 xp complain to me when ur lvl 50 and u lose 1k xp every time u die. /sigh the joys of being a whm...

I can understand not wanting to run across 2 areas but saving a party member 10 feet away from you to SAVE them a run acorss 2 areas...fricking WHM prick.

Innumerable requests for gil, one of my favourites would still be when I was running around bare assed nekkid as an rdm farming and someone comes up and /tells me "You look rich!! can I have some gil!?!? PLEEEEESE!!!11!!!"

but my all time favourite was when I was soloing my Dragoon outside windy I think it was and someone came up with that little red ? next to them and asked if I would sell them my Wyvern . . .

"OMG THAT IS SO KEWL!!! I HAB GIL PLEASE SELL ME UR DRAGON!"

stupids . . .
 
Craziest thing I've heard? Too many crazy things said by people... things keep topping the list. However, in most recent memory was today in Crawler's Nest, in which our DRK/WAR was supposed to 'voke to set up the SATA thingy for me, the THF.

First time, I took this as a joke from the WHM (name goes unmentioned)-
"Johnnyb isn't very good at tanking, he's a DRK, stop provoking"

/laugh, yeah yeah, jokey-joke. Having trouble with getting the PLD into place to trick off her as well, soooo... 3 fights later... and a lot of rapid typing by me and the ranger explaining the benefits of having a THF in the party and what SATA does, how I could keep hate on the PLD the whole time for sure, and how much MP they'd save over the long run, how much quicker we'd dispose of targets 'cause people can unload safely, etc... (Level 43 group, by the way)...

"Okay, DRK has to STOP provoking, I'm dumping ALL my mana into him. STOP TANKING"
DRK - "Yeah screw this, I'm done provoking"
/sigh...

Obviously this party had to need for a THF so I /disbanded and sat seeking while I was afk for the next hour or so :P I think it's just funny to me how even at higher levels communication barriers break down and that I'd be more effective typing in "l337" to some players... I realize its a learning process, but how many mistakes can be made before someone's given up on? :D

omg Rune I soooo know what you mean ... people just don't seem to get the jist of thf ... PEOPLE Thf's NEED a trick bud bottom line and we need thf's in our parties ... the damage they do is just awesome ... I LOVE bein a trick bud for the thf ...

And I need to add this also ... main tanks hold that damn mob in the middle NOT against a wall so I (the trick bud) and our wonderful thf who when all goes well does a good 300 - 400+ dam with 1 sata to the mob ...

It's soooo easy if you just go with the flow ... anyone can be the trick bud as long as you can voke off the puller (usually the thf who pulls also) ... then the main tank gets at the back of the mob ... trick bud is at the front with the aggro for a very short period of time ... thf sata's off the main tank ... main tank vokes and wala there's the hate and aggro ... the main tank keeps it the rest of the fight ... the thf then moves to me (the trick bud who is now at the back of the mob cuz it's done a perfect 180 degree turn) and sata's at least once more during the fight ... there's another 400+ dam and it just goes so smooth when done right ...

Hope I explained this okay Rune :wink: ...

Also when I main tank the thf helps me so much with keeping the aggro ... I am definitely one who can appreciate the job of Thf ...

That moron Allyson earned her way onto my Blacklist when I was lvling Drk in Khazam. Its like the only way she could chat was through /shout. I'd say she's got to be one of the newer PS2 noobs. She would say the stupidest things, not to mention just carrying on a conversation in /shout all the damn time. Im so glad i never pt'd with her, id likely have shot myself. If she isnt one of the ps2 noobs maybe she's just a noob period. But if she's been on since the NA pc release.. then she's just an incredibly sorry excuse for a player/person. She was the first person I ever put on my Blist.
 
hey, johnnyb is my friend, and he's good at what he does. If he's the only one that can voke, then that whm needs to keep his mouth shut.
